Really nice! Again, not sure about the lights though. Think some custom all-reds or some smoked M3 FKs or smoked Inpros would look 8)

Evo Feature Day - Roundup/Pics on Page #4!
CazzaVR replied to Supercharged's topic in General Car Chat
Well? Come on now, don't keep us in suspenders! :) -
The ST sounds wonderful- heard one the other day on full chat 8)

Would be close, I should imagine. Those specs are very similar- Evo has the VR at 6.2 secs and 144 mph...

There's supposed to be one in the kit with it. It's just a crappy bit of plastic flexi-tube, that you can route where you want (usually down to the lower grille). Don't think it does a great deal TBH, and the cone will have enough air without it. However, it will be hot air, so not much point (apart from the sound of course!). Get yourself some alu tubing the same bore as your MAF, and route it down through the carbon can hole, with the K & N on the end, behind the front bumper. Lots of nice cold air, and you still get the amazing sound.

Could be a number of things- get it on VAGCOM
-
coolrado, nice one! How did you make it?
-
Looking minty! 8) Gonna look absolutely stunning when it's slammed. A change of side repeaters would look good too.
-
Yeh, custom jobby
-
ZippyVR6, there's a few with the early interior, but all had the late exterior. Got a feeling there are a handful on a J plate too...
-
VEEDUBBED, thanks for that. I'm really tempted to get this done in the future. If it took you 6 months, it'd probably take me 5 years though! Re: belt slippage- can't you get a toothed set up? Sure somebody makes them.
-
Nice! Wanna do this 8) ! Will have to wait a while though :( Has it been reliable? Any major probs? Any idea of the power it's putting out?
-
Don't think so...
-
VEEDUBBED, you make it sound soooo easy! Thought charging a 16v was a bit tricky... Any engine pics?
-
Yeh, looks good. He's done a spot-on job with that sill 8) My aqua bonnet looks darker than the rest too... will have to compare it to the roof next time I use it.

Think it was the 94-95s that got the 4x4 suspension. Think they also got a slightly wider track too, although I probably imagined that
-
Try here ;-) So far on mine, I've gone for the KR cam and panel filter, and it's definately quicker.
-
Also check the air hoses that connect to the ISV. Had a similar prob once, all down to a small split in the underside of one of the hoses.

Thanks mate. Found it, completely gunked up with old oil. Cleaned it carefully. It has a white plastic ring- any significance whether it's black or white? Do you reckon it's worth changing?
-
Crasher, sorry mate, you've lost me! Just had a look, and couldn't work it out. Got any pics? Cheers

Welcome! Sounds like a cracker 8)

g60_Pete, would be a shame to break it! If you do though, I'm after a couple of little bits- leather handbrake handle & grey plastic handbrake gaiter.

Car seemed to run a bit too hot when I first bought it, so changed the fan switch and coolant. However, it's still reaching the same temps. Water always stays around 95-100, and the oil has been going up to 116, whilst doing a steady 80mph :? This defo seems too high to me. Could the thermostat need a change? Maybe the fan switch I bought was a duff one? Oil cooler? Any ideas? Cheers.
