    Is it a 2.0? Had similar on one of my old ones where water got into the airbox. There's a sensor on the side of the airbox which was soaked. Dried it all out thouroughly and it was fine again.

    Glad the idle's sorted out- really annoying when you can't find the cause of something like that. Any pics? Wanna see the interior ;)

    If there's a flood, call envirnonmental health (or whatever it is!). I had a similar problem at a flat I lived at several years ago, where my overflow was blocked and kept flooding a communal porch. The agents didn't want to know, but as soon as I got the environmental lot in, it was sorted within a couple of days.

    Pics from AV8 @ Kemble A bit of an update! Gearbox whines - mainly above 3k rpm. Gonna take it back to Mart (Hotgolf), who's very kindly offered to strip it again and fit a whole set of bearings. A load of hassle taking the box off again, but it will give me peace of mind. Still loving how it drives with the 3.68... Next mission will be a whole coolant system revamp: rad, fan switch, silicon hoses, water pump, stat + housing and sensors etc. Also a little paint here and there.

    Yep, they all have the foliage cover. Needs a little extra though underneath to be perfect. Never bothered myself, but have some extractor hood stuff that I might try.

    Depends how far you want to go. My next project is to replace: Rad + elbow Fan switch Crack pipe Stat housing + sat + sensors + all seals Change expansion tank for MK4 expansion tank + plug Silicon hoses Maybe heater matrix *Edit* + water pump!

    Such a shame you have to let it go after all the hard work! However, totally understand your reasoning- the Ultima is gonna be a fantastic project 8) + at least you know the Rado is going to someone who will cherish it :)
