Have you checked the drive belts/tensioners/pulleys? Could also be the water pump.

Got a good late one in Thornbury, near Bristol.
-
Well done Daren- you'll need a cabinet soon! ;)
-
Think you'll need 205 45 16.

There are a couple of pics somewhere. They suit the Rado IMHO, as long as your car is lowered and they have the correct tyre size -not the Golf size that's usually on them.

That's a bad one :( It really pays to get it off asap, as it is powerful stuff. Try cutting it, but it may well need a gentle wet sand and machine polish. Removed a similar one from my Dad's car before by doing this.

Was gonna suggest fuel pump relay, but see you've ordered one 8) No need to drill anything to replace the ignition switch, it's the barrel that needs drilling. The switch is easy really, just the tiny screw that's fiddly.

You need to be really organised and prepared to put the time in. You can make a decent amount of money from it though. As already mentioned, you get left with quite a lot of stuff. Best to get a spreadsheet going that tracks who has bought what, if they've paid, if it's been posted etc.

Sorry to hear that mate, but your health defo comes first. Any details on the vRS? 8)

Managed to find a screening of the Jaws re-issue today (Bristol Odeon). Turned out to be a 'Seniors' screening! At least it was only £3.50 + I got free tea and biscuits  One of the best films ever. Was fantastic to finally see it on the big screen- felt quite emotional  Direction/script/cast/acting/score- it's got everything 8) 10/10

Ello matey :) We've missed ya :( Hope the VR's OK?

Wow! Looks stunning 8) Just try the different badge combos. Only takes a few seconds to change them. Think I'd go Chrome script and black VW. Pics would be good ;)

Thanks guys. Oz, it gets used for all our holiday journeys, trips etc. It's the family workhorse!

Good work David! 8)

I'd go with these: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?64857-NEW-Group-Buy-VR6-Polyurethane-engine-mounts-(PAYMENTS-PLEASE) MUCH cheaper and just as good imho. Got front and rear fitted + MK2 Golf Diesel gearbox mount. Had full sets of VT before and they were great, but no better. If you want to go for the VT mounts, I would go Fast Road front/rear + MK2 Golf Diesel.
