Grey 16v parked at Wyevale Garden Centre, Thornbury this afternoon. Think I've seen this in Thornbury before.

It was (and still is!) fitted to our Octavia vRS. Fits nicely and sounds perfect. Nice deep burble, but not too loud. They eventually sent the correct tailpipe, which got surface corrosion due to the poor quality metal used. Needs a regular polish to keep it at bay. Lots of people have had this problem. It's a good exhaust, but I would NEVER buy from them again...

Hi Steve, No straps I'm afraid- both broken :( The space saver is indeed 15" 4-stud, in good order.

Had a couple today- mechanic said he loved the car and really wanted one. He said it was much more special than another one that lives at the garage. Stopped for petrol and the forecourt cashier said it was lovely and asked loads of questions 8)

Yesterday- dark coloured (L-reg?) Rado just outside Bath on the A46. VR6 was in for some work in Stroud and the mechanic took it out and said another Rado passed him and waved- said it was light green.

Pretty sure they are around £40 (at least they were when I bought one 4 years ago!).

Have you checked all the air hoses thoroughly e.g. behind, underneath etc?

Looks all present and correct. There should be a foam seal in the end of the snorkel.

I'm going the 3.68 + lightened flywheel route. Getting a longer 5th gear from a TDI put in at the same time ;)

Does it have the snorkel that slots into the base of the box and meets the plastics behind the headlamp?
