I managed it with a couple of steel bits I turned and a medium sized vice. Wasn't THAT much of an issue, but if faced with the options of not doing it, then I wouldn't

Are they genuine VW parts? How does it work with, TPS, can anyone order from them or just businesses? Yes, they are genuine VW and TPS (Trade Parts Specialists - trade parts arm of VAG) centres are located nationally and you need an account number. There are centres in Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Southampton[/quote:2bxxdc2x] How does one get an account number??
  7. How much did you pay then oliherst? It's just about £18 from my stealers, and from VW spares plus VAT it's not far off that..?
  8. There are 2 cut-outs in his picture, the R32 bush is solid
  9. Old ones are out, was just checking that the ID on the r32's are teh same 'cus I read something on the forum that a sleeve is needed. Maybe when used with tt spec ones?? Sleeves are needed when using normal Corrado bushes (ID is something near 14mm), the R32 ones have an ID of around 12mm, and the bolts are M12 so no sleeve needed when using R32's
  10. Yeh from what I can tell in your pix you have the 2 cut outs! I believe the right part no. is 8N0 407 181 B I got mine from http://www.fourseasontuning.com/?product=308# and they look fine!
  11. Mine's been my daily for almost a yr now, and he loves it! (no plate ends in HUW - Huey). No garage tho, so he stays out in the cold unfortunately, I'd like one for the night time tho. There's also little brats around here and non-respecting neighbours. (The kid's used my Dusty Mauve mk3's (Dave) bonnet once as a chalkboard!! And not just normal chalk, LUMPS of chalk rock from the Westbury White Horse!!) So I would keep him inside if I had the opportunity, but during all weather he's out and about! Unfortunately got made redundant end of Jan, so this past month he's been sat on the driveway, but I'll take him out every other day to warm him up, take him for a good spin (and the fact I can't wait to get behind the wheel!!). Besides, it's not as though I've got much on!? :norty:
  12. Or a strategically placed crowbar?
  13. He who dares Rodney, he who dares...
  14. Ah!! It's all a scam at the end of the day :( I put my mum on mine (Im only 24 :D ) as a 2nd driver and it took it down by over £200! 8)
  15. You checked the voluntary and compulsory excess? How old are you?
  16. That is nasty!! I thought it was a colossal crash between 2 RS6's at 1st!!! Lucky bloke, give him that!

  18. Cheers bud, were the bulbs for the cluster the same as the ones u used for the LCD's?

    Cluster bulbs

Im going to replace the (3?) bulbs that light up the clocks, and the 2 LCD displays on my '94 VR6. When I replaced them on my mk3, they were 509t bulbs for the dash, but I never got round to changing the LCD's. Are the bulbs for the clocks on the Corrado 509t's as well, and how do I go about changing the LCD's? Are they also 509t's? Thanks in advance :)
  20. Thanks man, I've been looking out for an Audioscape for a while
