  1. D'oh!! Just bought a full Goodridge set yesterday...why oh why!!?
  2. Can anyone tell me when u buy a VR6 balljoint from VW (1H0 407 365), do u need to buy the lockplate and the bolts seperately? Or do they come as a package like AVS can do? http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=592
  3. I also have a question... Kev - So I can use either or?
  4. Hi mate can't really help u out with some of those questions, but... I can only find the sump from the stealership, There's 2 types of gasket for the VR6, 021 103 609 and 021 103 609 depending on your engine number. FYI there are 26 bolts! Again 2 types (1 lot are M6x14, the others are M6x17), dependent on engine number.
  5. Spotted a blueish rado, possibly VR, parked up in Trowbridge, along Frome Road I think. Last 3 digits were something like OUL?
  6. I have to disagree with you there, damn site cheaper yes, but better :nono: I happen to buy a set of these yesterday from the guy that makes them and for the extra money you pay its worth that for piece of mind! I am not new to using the shorter ramps but i have never liked rolling onto them, always feel a bit uneasy but thats just me! Roll on roll off with a 40mm drop on corrado and i will still roll on with my 90mm splitter fitted with these ramps! And if you want to go any lower with your car he can also supply you with extentions. So how are they better? What gives u the piece of mind? :confused4:
  7. I got fined £60 for my German pressed plates the day the law changed from it being £30!! 1st of July IIRC... Fully legal pressed UK font plates for me now! :D
  8. Hi mate  Your motor looks like a minter!! :D Was gonna say "damn that's low" after looking at the 1st pic, then realised u were on a gradient! Phew!! Shame about the 'split' in the splitter tho :(
  9. KFC: I do enjoy the zinger burger, but u HAVE to tower that bad boy. The shakes they do, 'crushems' or something, are pretty good but they give u a straw with a diameter of like 15mm to drink through. McD's: I dunno, if I haven't had one in a while I do quite like a greasy 'quarter pounder wit cheese'. Shakes are good too. Overall I quite enjoy a 'donalds. BK: Ultimate. As Kev says, XL Double Bacon and Cheese is awesome. Won't get much change back from a tenner  , but damnnnn they're tasty! True about the lack of sauce, but then tbh I enjoy the burger as is! (Should feckin' hope so due to the cost!!) Chips: No matter what anyone says to me, McD's rule when it comes to fries/chips. When they're 'fresh' and hot, nothing better! Sometimes I just get a large fries from 'donalds  KFC are just w*nk and not to be bothered with, BK are quite nice but normally quite hard I find. Now don't know if this should be brought up here (seeing as it's a discussion about fuel prices.. ), but Dominos.... :notworthy: Petrol Prices suck tremendously!!
  10. Excellent, thanks a lot!! Ordered straightaway. I ordered these and have just fitted them, the sidelight bulbs don't fit (I have LHD headlights) so I have to order slightly different ones. I'm yet to use them, hopefully I'll be able to see at night now :D[/quote:3s7oyqr9] Yeh the sidelight bulbs are'nt the right ones, but will fit in the 'side' interior light. Well f*ckin' bright lol!!
  11. Lol why is everyone using that link? My one from ebay posts to u @ £18!!
  12. it was ultra low! very surprised to see a 90mm splitter on the front, chuff knows how it got in there :confused4: the WHARF, it is a place of mystery....... Maybe it got in there, and now it's scared to come back out so spends the rest of it's days there, in the darkness, waiting for it's owner to come and raise him a bit? Maybe I should be taking my medication...
  13. Yeh Id just go for the mk3's mate (even tho they're more expensive than mk4) as they're tried and tested :D
  14. My mistake, the carriers for the mk3 VR6 have been revised to the ones showing up for the mk4. This means that the disc part no. is irrelevant then?
  15. Ok, I've been offered a set of mk4 front 288 calipers and carriers. Checkin' on ETKA the calipers have the same part no's, but the carriers are different as are the brake discs...(as opposed to the late mk3 VR6 ones...) Should this be a problem or not??

  17. A guy on here sells em mate, http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=37706&hilit=plug+removal
  18. Yup - TT/R32 rear bush part no: 8n0 407 181 B
  19. It plugs into the existing plugs on the headlights mate, and t'other end goes straight onto ur b82rez. (battery) A diagram is supplied with purchase :D
  20. You're talking about this one right? http://curioustype.com/35-million-dollar-car-collection-found-abondoned-barn.htm Not entirely sure I believe it tho, tbh :?
  21. What're u gonna mount them with Andy? Not screws? Get some pix up :D Here's mine with metal pressed plates... DSC01697.JPG[/attachment:15y1f8ws]
