1. If Your heading down to the Forest of Dean any time soon give me a shout as thats where I live :D
2. Your worst than a boomerang mate :D
3. Thanks for the in put guys. Either way the estate is going no matter what specialy after today!!! got in it after work and had no brakes and have spent the last 4 hours trying to fix it :bad-words: At the moment the Corrado isnt really costing me anything as its currently SORN and I am only paying £10 a month on laid up insurance. Its just the only way I can afford a half decent daily driver would be the suggestion above. As I will only be getting £700 for the Golf. All I really need is something cheap to run as currently Im putting £50 of fuel in a week which only last for around 300 miles. Currently on the look for a new job any way to try and improve money flow from that end too.
4. Some of you may have saw I'm getting married this year :pale: and I could with some extra cash to help pay for it. Now the only really money I have is tied up in my corrado! Also I really could do with getting a cheap to run and reliable daily drive. What I was think was selling the 24v :( buying a half decent daily (£2k max) using some of the left over to buy a cheap vr6 to restore/ project and the left over money from selling my currently daily and whatever is left from the 24v use towards the wedding. I don't really want to sell the corrado but its the only sure fire way I can kill two birds with one stone and still keep a corrado of some sort. I can't really take my current corrado any further than I have without shelling out massive amounts of money I don't have. Plus with the replacement rado I want to be able to do the work myself as I have hardly done anything to my current one and take my time doing it. What's yours thoughts?
5. My bike is coming along nicely (excuse the work mate, only thing I had at hand to hold it in place as I cabled it up!) Going to be going satin black when the weather gets better and all the cables and brake lines will be going a lime green colour as well as a few other subtle bits. Also going to re-sticker it with the bike make and model with something that will match the finish so it almost looks factory :D hopefully have it up and running for Monday when I'm able to take it out.
6. Well had the car in the air today and if these marks are what people are saying they are then there are no ribbing marks on the inside of the arches. Only marks are from when on full lock. The tracking is slightly out so might get that sorted soon. Eithet that or it was duff tyres before hand. But the other side was quite worn down too.
7. Well my daily driver sit rather low to the ground and recently (6months ago) had two new front tyres fitted. Earlier on this week when it was raining I noticed the car would under-steer rather a lot, which was quite disconcerting. So next break in the rain I check my car out and found out why! So my new tyres ent so new any more!!! Needles to say got some new tyres asap and whilst the wheel was off found out what had been chewing my tyres :bonk: So on the weekend I shall be raising the front end a bit I think. 1 because of the appetite for tyres and 2 because I need to use two jacks just to get it in the air. Oh well all part of the fun I guess. :afro:
8. Merry Christmas every one. Hope you are all having a good day

Mayan calender

I'm after a new Mayan calender as mine is about to run out!!!
10. Quite a good track that I do 11km long, 80% up hill but broken up nicely with a bit of downhill sections every now and again. Ending in a rather nice long down hill section. Not very technical and can be ridden by most riders. Check out the video of the down hill section the course.
11. I think we need to get a Corrado forum mountain biking day sorted!

15. Im kind of glad I have gotten into it this time of year as I bet it would be unbearable for me in hot weather being as unfit as I am. Hopefully by the time it warms up Ill be fitter
16. As above really even tho it was freezing we soon warmed up when we got going even if the wind was cold when we got some speed. Lost the feeling in my fingers at one point, couldnt even change gear they were that cold! We stopped at a cafe in the cycle center and as soon as they started to warm up the pain was unbearable!!!! Off out tomorrow with a couple of friends after work. Im going to be dead tomorrow night. I have work at 3 in the morning then riding from 12 :bonk:
17. It's never too cold. On Wednesday and Thursday it was -1 whilst we were out!
18. Sad times indeed Chris, but like I said on fb its for a good reason. Im sure you'll be back at some point
19. Went out with my friend on Wednesday and Thursday riding for the first time in god knows how long. And absolutely loved it. I borrowed one of his bikes an done quite a good trail by us. Going out again on Sunday and then again Tuesday and Wednesday. I need to get fit some how as I am stupidly unfit. Also he is going to give me one of his frames as he has quite a few. So will be getting a marin wolf ridge frame with some forks and wheels. Just needs brakes and other little things like that to get it going. Cant wait to get back out there again down the winding banked track with plenty of jumps :D
20. No defo cant wait, will be uploading loads of photos as it comes along :D ---------- Post added at 9:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 8:55 PM ---------- Can any one recommend a decent filter set up but doesn't cost the world?
