  1. Wow, what a load of awesome parts! Now to what I can afford really. A shame you're breaking but I agree with some of the others in the sense that it just doesn't seem financially viable for you and if it keeps other corrado's on the road then it isn't a lost cause! I'm really interested in the boost gauge and swg pod, mocal oil cooler and sandwich plate, and wondering whether you would split the beru leads from the rest to buy separately? Also, would the Sns chip suit a stage 4 charger? Or is specific to the other mods you have on the car aswell? Lastly, wondering if they're is any kind of deal we come to based on the parts above? :-) thanks mate.
  2. Yeah that's worth a look, have checked all the bits around that area and had them gone over by a mechanic friend that reckons all the leads, cap, arm etc are ok and feels it's a timing issue. Spoke to Darren today from g-werks today who reckons that it could be something to do with the timing and crank pulley. Reckons I should put the engine at TDC and check it all lines up. The fact it is not a consistent problem makes him think the bolt could be loose. Not sure if I'm convinced or not, would the valves hit the pistons if it's slipping? I just wish it would magic itself fixed at this point :-(
  3. Hey guys, sorry for the delayed reply. Unfortunately I havnt managed to sort the car yet due to not having the time with work really. The car is also not running properly at the mo due to some frustrating problem with the fuelling/timing as it keeps misfiring and cutting out. Need to sort that first then at least I can get it to a garage to sort wishbone bushes. All is not well at the mo :-( gutted. ---------- Post added at 03:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:11 PM ---------- But when I finally get round to it I intend to replace the front wishbone bushes and possibly the rears. The drop links and bushes on the arb have been done fairly recently so going to replace the wishbone bushes and cross my fingers.
  4. The cars a pre 92 so havnt run a cat for some time, strangely i think it might have a probe put on by the previous owner but will check. It has not caused any problems for over two years, I'm almost convinced it is something I have replaced or touched etc that has caused a fault. But how, and why? Can anyone offer any explanation or advice before imgo and spend more money! Could it still be a sensor? Trying to think what's in the area I have been working in and what I have replaced. Thanks all.
  5. Until I'm able to acquire an old laptop, software and leads, is there anything else I could check or replace relatively easily? Or any other suggestions? Could anyone shed any light on whether it is a sensor issue? Really need to get the car back on the road. Would a new water sensor he or is there any way of checking that the air and water sensors are working properly? Thanks in advance.
  6. I think i might have to just sit down and cry in the very near future as the corrado just doesnt want to play ball!! More misfiring, cutting out, and what seems to be freezing at a certain rev range, putting my foot on the gas doesnt do anything until i put in neutrel and it then cuts out. After running fine for over 3 weeks it is now worse than ever. It has been since i had changed the dizzy cap and rotor arm a few days ago as it was in need of doing. I have checked all the wires from around where i was working as well as being carefull to refit exactly as it was when taking the old ones off. Is there something i need to be checking or something i have missed? Could it still be an earth issue? I cant think how! A mechanic friend of mine said it could be the air sensor or water sensor as they would have an influence on the timing and fuelling. It seems to be a fuelling/ecu issue do you think? Im pretty sure the air sensor on the pipework back from the intercooler to inlet manifod is fine as it has been running with it for some time, im guessing the water sensor is the blue plug on the front of the block? would the replacement of the dizzy cap and rotor arm of caused a fault in it? Any help would be appreciated. This is so exhausting and frustrating!
  7. So g-werks don't have any in stock on their website but they're selling them on eBay? Confused! So you just searched corrado to find it on eBay? Interested in hunting one down too!
  8. Wouldn't it be easier to get one from g-werks? Think they're about 120 quid though. It's on the list for me too, so if someone magically has three of them to sell we'd all be happy ha.
  9. Yeah indeed, thanks for all the advice guys. Am fairly sure now it's the bushes. May just replace all round depending on price from the garage. Are the r32 bushes a direct replacement or is modification required? Also would anyone recommend some power flex bushes instead of standard? Bearing in mind the ride is pretty stiff already, a Though in aid of better handling can only be a good thing.
  10. Good piece of advice! I would rather not have to go through what you did! a good soak in WD40 wouold be sufficient i guess? And quicky1980, maybe a quote form the garage is in order and weigh up options then. Hopefully its not the wishbones themselves and just bushes. As far as i know they're fine. They could also do the tracking should it need it. Monday is the day to get this sorted!
  11. Can anyone remember the part numbers for the white clips along the bottom of the windscreen? At some point i want to change the screen and would want to avoid the glue! should get some should they ever go obsolete! thanks.
  12. Yeah thinking the wishbone bushes could be my problem then, but will of course check out the camber issues and the track rods and ends for wear. Down the garage I go, hopefully monday. Think that a wishbone bush change can be a driveway job, just about!
  13. Thanks for the reply Sam, can give that a go. One thing I'm worried about is last time I tried to raise the rear end one of the coil overs was wrecked and wouldn't move! Yet another thing on the list to take it off and strip it down.......when I had it mot'd I had to raise the front, and the problem was still the same so am wondering whether it isn't that as a problem. I'm thinking front discs as they shudder slightly under braking (warped), wishbone bushes, or camber so far as possible reasons!
  14. That's exactly why I want them, they look great, really supportive, and tilt! So did your mate actually have to fabricate frames for them? If I managed to find a set how much do think he'd be looking for as I'm not sure where to turn where I live to get them made. Just trying to gather info at the mo so when I do find a set I can go for it.
  15. The wheels are 15 by 9's so on the wide side, but thinking about it I didn't have this problem when I bought the car and I ask about the camber and top mounts as I'm wondering whether something happened when I changed them as I can't remember it being like that before. I may have painted a bad picture of the problem as I wouldn't say that it's really dangerous, more annoying. I will look onto the camber issue though. I don't think it's bump steer because it's continuous, not just over bumpy roads!
  16. This is gonna sound really silly, but couldn't find the original thread in the search so started a new one. Apologies if it sounds vague, the problem persists regardless of speed, though slightly more so at higher speeds. The car had passed it's MOT in July just gone. The reason of it being slammed is only what I ended up gathering from the previous thread, however I had yet to check the wishbone bushes which was a suggestion thatni have yet to do. If it's a camber issue how easily is it adjusted bearing in mind the coil overs. I think a trip to the garage is in order to check the rod ends etc, and also to check full camber and tracking. Apologies for the vague nature of this thread, I'm trying to work out what I can do on the drive or whether it's gonna have to go to a garage. ---------- Post added at 03:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:08 PM ---------- Also, with regards to the camber, what I was wondering is would this cause the car to pull to one side if the camber is a bit off on that side? Just trying to narrow it down as I just don't have much free time in the day at the mo and thinking what I can fit/do on the drive
  17. Hey all, I'm not sure if this has been answered but after doing searches have not found Any to answer my question. A while ago, I posted regarding why my 91 g60 keeps pulling to the left. After a lengthy thread I was kinda left with the idea that slamming corrado's just doesn't help steering that much! The tracking was checked and is fine, top mounts were replaced probably about 14 months ago. I'm just not convinced that I'm gonna just have to 'put up' with it, could it be a wishbone bush issue? Also would camber be a factor? Looking at the car this morning and it looks as if the passenger front wheel is leaning outwards slightly, or it could be my dodgy eyesight! Just trying to think of any other factors and any help would be much appreciated. Thanks guys, Sam.
  18. Hi g60greeny, tried to send you a PM but apparently your inbox is full! Bit of a random post but after seeing a set of recurs from a fiat strada abarth in your old corrado I've been longing for a set for mine! How easy were they to fit and what did you need to do? Lastly, how the hell did you find them?! I've looking for ages but to no avail. Can you point me in the right direction at all? Thanks mate, Sam.
  19. Did he have any service history or any proof of the charger being rebuilt in the past? Even though the engine itself is pretty bulletproof, the charger needs to be looked after and rebuilt/serviced every 15 to 30ish thousand miles depending on it's state of tune and from what it looks like it hasn't been rebuilt recently, the bearings and seals inside the casings have died and coincidentally charger goes pop. Check the oil feed line coming from the right side of the head to the right hand side of the charger, if this has died then the charger would have been starved of oil. even with all this does not change the fact you're gonna need a new charger as that is not repairable. You're probably looking at about 350-450 for a good condition/recently rebuilt charger second hand on the forum possibly, or give companies like g-werks or jabbasport a call as they stock their own rebuilt chargers. You won't be able to get one from the dealers anymore as they are obsolete (I think!) sad news, that sucks! Good luck mate.
  20. Hi mate, does the sunroof tilt and slide and in good working order? Also in the last but one pic, do you still have that plastic kick plate trim under the dash under trays? And is it black? Thanks.
  21. Excuse my ignorance, but is this a 'fix on the driveway' thing or a bit more substantial? I have a g60 but not sure whether this has been done or not, not in my ownership anyway. Thanks.
  22. I noticed the gauge is £5, would you do that price posted? Also, what's included in the box, is there a connecting t-piece or just the lead to plug it in? Thanks
  23. Are the pair of outer bottom window seals and boost gauge still available? What condition are they in? Thanks.
  24. Is the Moonroof still available and would you consider posting it? A long shot I know. Shame the door pods have sold, was interested too!
