  1. What steveo29 said really. real shame, I would recommend the products they offer, but the service is something left to be desired. Hopefully it can be turned around.

    US spec bits!

Mmmm, don't think I can stretch to £65. Thanks for the offer though lamwagon. Is that how much they go for these days?
  3. Hi mate, would you separate the SWG vent from the guage and sell separetely? interested in just the vent really, unless you can do a deal ;-) Also, do you still have the headlights? ---------- Post added at 02:31 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:29 PM ---------- Oh, and would you sell just the boot floor carpet on its own?
  4. All well and good, and fingers crossed it should turn up within a day or two! its couriered, so should take no longer than that. Good for Darren to do that, as he did with me. But it should never have happened in the first place, it absolutely takes the **** their lack of communication. i think they're probably good guys at heart, but need to work on customer relations, especially as they're trying to run a business!!
  5. Its so weird reading this because it is everything thats happened to you happened to me, the un-returned call, un-answered emails, pretty rubbish communication in general and whoever you speak to doesnt seem to know whats going on. No to mention the endless broken promises of it being sent, then not, confusing it whith one that has been sent. Also, like you, i was seriously gutted because they are very reputable within the scene, and know what they're doing. it was the communication, and broken promises that let me down. Darren seems like a great guy when you get him on the phone, which is hard then to not unload on him about the situation. Even after having the charger back, i still had to chase them for another two weeks for the warranty paperwork. it is literally a click on an email or a letter in a posbox. I couldnt understand it. All i can say is keep hounding them, they seem to be either too busy, or more interested in other things to see the whole process through. I dont want to bad mouth them, and would possibly buy from them again, but would be seriously addressing their communication skills beforehand.
  6. Dude i have had the EXACT same problem with them. They had mine in for a stage 4 rebuild, said 5 days, and took nearly six weeks. Id paid for it over two weeks before getting it back. VERY disappointing. Although, upon venting my unhappyness with the situation, Darren had agreed to throw in a 68mm pulley, and shorter belt which did sweeten the deal but has still left me feeling somewhat bitter of the whole process. Like you, i didnt really want to vent this on a forum but after a while, the situation is soooo draining. Hope you work it out mate.
  7. Easy fix in the end, just swapped out the relay. Thanks Wullie!

    Brake hard lines.

What would you guys suggest bearing in mind I have about 4days to sort this and get it through an mot! Although I always try and get things done myself, due to limited time I'm wondering about just giving the car to the garage to do it all. Just want to make sure if I do, they do the hard lines properly, with either steel or kunfier. Thanks.

    Brake hard lines.

Thanks for the input guys. Andy T, where and how did you get your lines replaced? The kunfier sounds a good shout, and ideally would go for that, however I'd be happy with steel as I am on a limited time to sort this and Looking for something that would be quite easy to sort out as I am in work all week and having to sort stuff before and after work. Volksworld13, I have a 91 g60 and need both rear brake hard lines, aswell as the hardline from compensator to flexie. Failing being able to get hold decent hard lines, could you make these and how much would they cost? Have already got hold of the flexie's from GSF.
  11. Hahaha, for a minute there I thought maybe I was getting a little too easily confused. Ah ok, will check the appropriate relay for the indicators and then the wipers as this 99 sounds better. Will see how lucky I am at the scrappy, or failing that, is it something that GSF or the like will do?

    US spec bits!

Cool thanks for the heads up Jay GT. Will check the bay. But also interested if anyone happens to have any for sale on here!
  13. Apologies for my ignorance here, but are talking about the windscreen wipers? As it is the indicators and hazard lights that have ceased to work on the car, not those. But yes, Wales is probably as wet, if not wetter than where you are ha.

Thanks for lettin me know kempy. Ideally looking for smoked so will continue the hunt but may get back to you if I have no luck on the smoked! May be able to tint them I guess?? ---------- Post added at 11:55 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:54 AM ---------- Matty golf, any news on your rear plinth? Condition? Pics? Price? Thanks a lot mate.

    Brake hard lines.

    Can anyone offer any help?
  16. Great thanks wullie, I'll have a look when I get home. Do you know where these relays are available? Or is it a dealer only bit? If they still do them I guess. What do you mean by the variable intermittent wipe on the 99 relay? As mine is a '91 I guess it'll be the 19. Thanks.
  17. A quick question, half way through my C's mot the indicators and hazard lights decided that they wanted to die. Checked the fuses and they are good. Is there a relay for the indicators and if so which one? And does anyone have any suggestions? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks a lot.
  18. Hey all, trying to get the C through it's mot and am in need of both rear brake steel hard lines, aswell as the hardline from compensator to flexie. also, the shorter brake flexies from the hard lines, not the ones to the caliper. My question is are these available from any supplier or dealer? Or am I gonna have to have some made up? I hoping not the latter. If they are obtainable from the dealers, does anyone know the part numbers? any help is much appreciated! Thanks a lot.

Not to sure about the plinth then kempy, ideally looking for a standard one finished in the matte black if poss. And with the lock, even thoughni might be able to get away with a drill bit the right size ha. What colour are your side markers? Again looking for smoked ideally. matty golf, what is your plinth like and how much are willing to let it go for? Thanks.

I'm only in Swansea so not far from you, how much we talkin'?
  21. Hi kur2y, I'm in need of loom asap. I know this has probably been answered, but what's the difference between the 2and 3 relay looms? Also, do they control the dipped and full beam? I have managed to get a pair of OE connectors off a scrapped corrado so can supply them to you along with an enclosure (would like to make it as watertight as possible and ideally a fit and forget thing!) please let me know if this is possible. Thanks mate.

Ta very much. ---------- Post added at 01:02 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:00 PM ---------- Also I assume that a smoked version of the side markers are available? Again from dealers?

    G60 setup

The g-werks chips are the same as the sns ones, recently had my charger rebuilt at G-werks and aparently sns have gone under, but Darren has bought the patent for sns's anti-lag tech in their chips and now selling them under the g-werks name. Well worth a shout for the antilag alone. I would go to shorter belt if you're gonna fit a 68mm pulley as you can experience a degree of belt slip on some occasions if you dont. The rsr is also a good idea as it greatlt reduces back pressure and helps aid air through the charger much more efficiently. Only thing is i would say they are a bit expensive.
