Ok Keith no probs, was it all working perfectly before the car came off the road? im guessing you've had drill out the rivets for the motor itself? any damage at all? Thanks alot mate. -
Managed to get the connectors off the back of the headlights from the scrapper for a few quid! Tried to get in contact with D&G to see if they would make me one but havnt heard from them and not sure if they're interested. Think i might get an enclosure from screwfix or summit and hit Kur2y to make me a loom with the connectors and enclosure.

Hi Keith, sorry for the late reply. Would you accept £15 posted for the passenger electric window mechanism? I'm guessing this is including the motor itself along with the regulator etc? And also guessing it was working perfectly before you took the car off the road? Thanks mate. -
Dragon green that is salt most definitely rubbed into the wound haha. Popin over to the scrappy tomorrow morning and if I can, steal the connectors off the back of the headlights. If not try the dealers if I'm lucky! Maybe I can tempt D&G to make me one :-) if not, kur2y.
-
Yeah I've heard of kur2y's looms and they were my next point of call if this didn't work out. I just liked the ease of these, already being housed in a waterproof box. Will try and keep this going just in case something does pop up! Thanks dragon green.

Hi Keith, thanks for the swift delivery of the wipers. I was also wondering whether you had a passenger door electric window motor. I think it's riveted in behind the door skin. Thanks. -
Fair do's Alex, yeah I know it was kinda covered. Ended up repeating myself oops. I recently found a g60 in a scrapyard near me so gonna go and check it out to try and get some bits. I'm gonna sound like a bit of an idiot here, but what am I looking for to find the connectors if this scrapped corrado has them? Also, does anyone know the part number for the connectors as I may try my luck at the local vw dealers if it's true that they pop up now and again.

Managed to get the flange on order so wanted to get this done over the weekend, is changing it a hard job or take off put back on kinda thing?
-
I know this is quite specific, but ever since finding out that they have stopped making them I thought I'd try on the off chance that anyone had one for sale at all. They were by far the best uprated headlight I'd seen, I'm gutted I ve missed the boat! Thanks a lot, Sam.
-
Well, thought I'd give D&G auto tech an email just to see what they say and they've stopped making them because of the fact that the OE connectors are not available from the factory anymore. So is this a worldwide/uk part obsolete? I was wondering whether there is any way of sourcing them.
-
Thanks Alex, yeah ive seen Kur2y's looms for sale on here but was always dubious as there wasnt any kind of enclosure and although lots of peeps havnt had any probs i just wanted something that wasnt going to short out or get damaged due to using the car daily, hence the dg looms with their enclosed casing for the relays. Though like you said, i may look into getting some kind of enclosure and getting Kur2y to sort one out for me. Where would you suggest mounting it to reduce any chance of damage?
-
What loom have you used andy-h? Have you had any problems? I.e water damage, electrical shorts etc.
-
Alexg60fanatic, I couldnt agree more! I'm on the hunt for an uprated loom at the mo, wanted a dg auto tech one but they've stopped making them. Gutted! I was ideally looking for something that looked original but tweaked, hence the rallye light idea. I've already started customising the standard lights so after an uprated loom and then I'd be happy.
-
Ah ok then. Not really sure myself, was just curious. The inpro lights have the angel eye rings around them aswell don't they? Not really a fan of the look of those. Maybe I've seen pics of customised corrado lights or something. Is it abdul's twilight violet corrado on here, the lights on his car in his avatar looked like rallye lights as they had a spotlight shaped light on the outer with squared full beam lights. Maybe I'm being a bit dumb, but curious none the less!

Thanks okcid for the part numbers, managed to get the o-ring seal today and ordered the flange. The lower rad hose has been discontinued so will try GSF or tps for that. I hope this will stop the coolant leak!
-
Great thanks guys, will give the local dealers a call and try and get hold of the flange and o-ring. Does anyone have a part number for any of the radiator pipes/pipes? There is a little of what looks like water corrosion/crystallised water around and underneath the flange so would like to change it anyway, although I can't really see any fresh residue from here so thought it might be somewhere near the radiator. Is changing the flange a hard job or just an take off, put back in kinda thing? Thanks a lot peeps.

Hey all, my 91 g60 has been leaking coolant for some time and have not been able to pinpoint where at all. After a drive I can actually see it dripping from the right side of the engine if standing from the front. I'm wondering whether it could be hose/pipe from the bottom right hand side of the radiator as that's where it looks like it's dripping from though I think It could also be the plastic flange seal and o-ring on the right hand side on the head. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem and does anyone know if any any of these items are still available from the dealers or GSF etc and what the part numbers are? I'm thinking I need the flange and o-ring on the right hand side of the head and possibly the one at the front with the 2 temp sensors going into it to be safe. And also any clips and possibly hoses/pipes to and from the radiator? Sorry for the length of this, thanks for reading! Any help is much appreciated. Thanks a lot Sam.
-
Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm having a similar problem, I can actually see water dripping once I've pulled up from around the bottom right hand side of the radiator, maybe just behind it. I havnt had a chance to look at it properly yet but could it be a hose or clip broken or loose? Not sure where to look for the stat housing, are any of these parts available from dealers of GSF or the like? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Does anyone know if it's possible to stick golf rallye headlights into a corrado? is it a big job, am guessing that a set of rallye lights aren't going to be that cheap, but I'm sure I've seen corrado's with this done! Thanks.
-
Okey dokey, seems easy enough. Would carb cleaner be better suited or does it really not matter?
-
Have PM'd crazy dave in the hope he'd consider making me one :-) otherwise thinking one of kur2y's looms. I use my corrado daily so don't want any mishaps with any electrical problems!

No problem mate, they'd be worth a shot as mine aren't very good at all at wiping, especially on the passenger side. Agreed at £10 posted? Let me know how you'd like paying. Thanks. -

I had also read that the passenger wiper needed to be shortened to clear the other wiper and edge of windscreen, has this been the case, or more importantly, have you experienced any problems using them? Was it literally a bolt on affair, to your experience. I'll take these awaiting you response. Thanks again. -
Kevhaywire, that looks great but I am not good at all at electrics so not confident with this ha. 4eyes2wheels, I think I'll give him a PM and see if he's kind enough to find the time! From what I recall D&G's looms were and internal loom built into a rather swish looking box werent they? Fingers crosses anyway :-)
