Riley, pulled the metal twisty bit off mine today by mistake :oops: was a new windscreen though so that`ll probably affect it, anyway was left with the black shape on the screen and a small square piece of adhesive on the twisty bit.... i wanna know how to put mine back on :lol:

it was already lowered on some gmax shock&spring when i got it, so cant really compare, been in a couple of other lowered rado`s and (1 standard shocks and lowered unknown springs 2 slammed on coilover (dunno which make)) and its definately more comfortable. still a bit crashy over big bumps but not teeth shattering, theres a lot of info about this set up on here and thats why i went for them,

tarche2, thanks mate, pretty dinged close up but polishes up ok, lowered on koni/H&R only prob 30-35mm 8)

dont worry i only use them in fog or for the odd photo shoot! :lol:

i agree on the exhaust to an extent i`d prefer a more subtle one but the twin is smaller than the usual DTM style so it`s ok, cant replace until its broken-its been on there 5 years with no probs so far. would like a CC plate surround but its sikaflek`d on!! just spent 3 hours giving it`s bi-annual cleaning, polishing, waxing etc so i got some new picks......

mate of mine let me have a spin in his 355 a while ago, didnt go too smoothly at first:: got in, foot on stuck throttle in neutral with my knee jammed under steering wheel! rmrmrmrmrmrmrmrmr!!!! pulled onto `private road` tapped the brake but also hit the throttle rmrmrmrmrmrrmrm :oops: after that was ok though, bottled it about 130 (he`d taken to 165) didnt fancy the bill! booted it to nearly 90 in second. hell`ova noise! pulled up and soon after had a fitty who`d never spoken to me before come up and start a conversation: "hi, just saw you pull up in your car" "which one, red (F) or blue ©.... then pissed my self laughing and she walked away :lol: couldn`t keep the blag going!!!

every C i`ve been in rattles in the doors with the windows down.. i find it endearing :roll:

agree with BC doesnt matter who`s fault it`ll get written off if the repair is too much, my G/F needed new rear bumper, back panel, grill and other little bits........£1200work = write off!!!! :cry: if worst case you wont be able to buy it back to break?! sorry dude!

didnt the very early 1.8`s come with 40mm??? with 3 ridges on each branch and a stamp on the drivers side branch?? if 50mm reduces torque compared to 42mm would 40mm increase it?? (could be talkin rubbish, but i`m sure i remember 40mm from somewhere??) please ignore me... quick look on ETKA shows just 2 :: 50mm and 42.5mm for golf and corrado although the golf one had the marks i described but the corrado one didnt!
