this thread pops up every 6 months or so, might be more in the archive but i know shaun ryder had a red one that was stolen and used in a fish%chip shop robbery

i think gmax has replacd jamex, which were on mine when i bought it, had been on for over 4 years when the front springs snapped, the shocks were ok when i took `em off but i put koni and h&r instead the ride however was pretty good even when it had the 17`s on,

hey and welcome to the forum!!! 1. the repair kit is from Daves16v, if you do a search you`ll find him, its a common problem that we all have 2. the funny feeling is normal afaik, its the abs pump priming itself so nothing to worry about (i think although someone who actually has abs on their car will come along to put me straight) more to worry about if it doesnt do this as they are mega bucks to get replaced 3. dunno about the abs sensors, but yes they do seem like a common problem across the range oh and it will be a little quiet on here this weekend as most are at inters... cant wait for the photos hope this helps mate ben

hndles are common fault to break expensive from dealers £80 + cheaper at GPC Daves16v on here does a repair kit although dont know if urs is bust in the same way as for boot lock u can set it not too open with the main pump by turning it to 2o`clock position i think so turn it to another position ( 9o`clock or 12o`clock and try it then HTH

i checked my cam chain when doing the cambelt and it was fine (150k) so fine in fact that my mech. said that it must have been done in the past , but i`ve had the car for 50k and i sure havent done it
