What's the brightness and light spread like? I know HID lamps don't really work with our old style reflectors so was wondering about these. Rog.

Oh, maybe not what you are looking for mate. All I did was replace the 6x4's in the back as I didn't want the 6x9's that were in the parcel shelf, I managed to get a new shelf and didn't want to cut holes in it. I havnt changed any of the other speakers. Rog.

Yes mate, I ended up getting some that one of the lads on the CRX forum recommended. They were quite cheap but I'm chuffed to bits with them. Can't remember the brand but I can dig out the info if you want. Rog.

Quick one for you, Back along when I had engine problems I was seeing high oil temps, as it happens the engine had a problem and its that that cause the high temp but during investigation I discovered that the temp sensor is surprisingly accurate. But, I think its possibly in the wrong location, its on the filter housing which bolts to the block, am I right in thinking the sensor with be subject to heat soak from the block? Could I move it, I'm thinking of relocating it to the sump. Anyone done this? good or bad idea? Rog.

Know what you mean, I've always loved the shape of the Mk1, I had an Alfasud Sprint for a number of years, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, same person who designed the Mk1... I do think they have an uncanny resemblance to each other....lol.... Think someone got paid twice for the same design. Rog.

Stealing this pic from Tempest's post I can't help but think the Corrado should have been the Mk2 Scirocco. It looks far more like a Mk1 than the mk2 ever did. Then I think the Mk2 Scirocco should have been the Mk2 Passat coupe... Did someone mess up at VW. Rog.

Awesome pics, like Rob something I'd love to do. Btw seeing a mk1 Scirroco next to a Corrado, can't help but think the Corrado should have been eithe the Mk2 or Mk3 Scirroco.... Tbh it's looks more simular to a mk1 than the Mk2 does. Rog.

The only reason Corrado prices are low is because places like this constantly run them down, outside of the Corrado community they are very well regarded, I remember when I got mine, lads at work were amazed how little I paid for it. Personally I think Corrados have turned a corner, yes they will never be worth millions but I think they are on the rise. Rog.
