I took my kids karting today and got talking about cars to the guy running the kids track. I was saying I had a Corrado and they were good cars but not that fast compared to a modern average car. His eyes lit up and he enthused " But it's a Corrado!" and then started asking me about it, whether it was a VR6 etc :) Not a major chuftie but it was the way he started enthusing about them that made my morning.

Yes deal now over. It was genuine as far as I could tell. I tried to buy it but due to Lloyds TSB cocking up my card it was declined 7 times. Genuine screw up by the bank and I spent most of the afternoon on the phone to them. Annoyed! At that price it is actually quite cheap compared to similar products.

Well that sounds like a rare car on all fronts... It's a Corrado - so rare It's a G60 - so extremely rare It's a grey one - not many greys about It has half leather recaros - very unusual, probably a set bought from the continent Enjoy! And welcome :)

Thanks for the comments. It's no big deal and I'll find another even if I have to buy a full set and keep the spares or sell them individually (I bet there is a demand there). It's especially annoying, as has been said, as these people are supposed to be enthusiasts. Bunch of chavs more like.

I've just washed the Corrado which is the first time I've used it since the Guildford No-Rice meet and found that one of the BBS centre caps is missing. I'm certain it would not have simply come off as it's only about 15 mins drive from my house and I washed the car immediately prior to it. So I can only conclude that, as it was an evening meet and I wouldn't have noticed it when returning to the car, that some swine has stolen it at that event. I'm angry to say the least! I certainly won't be going to that sort of meet again. Any idea where the best place is to find another... apart from being a **** and stealing one like seems to be the norm nowadays?

The speed in the VR6 is applied very differently to modern cars. If you watch various races onm youtube you'll generally see the other car take the lead and then the VR come back at the end. Most of its power is at the top end.

I've struggled to find a price on a used one so I'll go with £100 for both wheel and boss collected or can get get a price for postage. EDIT: Obviously less if you don't want the boss. Also keep in mind that, as mentioned on the link from Borabob they do need fitting the right way otherwise the indicator doesn't return. This is the case with a lot of wheels and not an issue unique to his wheel or this.

I don't think anyone should buy a Corrado nowadays for their speed. They are very old cars now. But win or lose you'll sound better than the other guy and certainly get there looking cooler :)

I took a genuine momo and boss off my car when I bought it. Can't remember the exact model name but if you're interested I can take a look at what they are selling for and get some closer pictures. Should be in superb condition and has been safely stored away for a couple of years. It is fantastically comfy to use but I removed it to put an original wheel on. [ATTACH=CONFIG]75363[/ATTACH]

Are these obsolete now? bought some from my dealer last year.

Have you checked that the connectors into that headlight are not corroded?
