Can you buy directly from them of do you need to go via Heritage?

I absolutely adore mk1's but they are so old now that getting a decent one would be near impossible. I used to own a mk2 GTX back in the early 90's and it was my first fairly quick car. I loved it. Until recently though I'd looked at them and thought they really hadn't aged well. But now I've started to really think they look great again. Am I weird? Do you think they may become "cool" like the mk1's? No I'm not going to buy one. I just think they have started to look quite nice again.

I really love that. If I had the money i'd be up there immediately. Hmmmmm.

I found the same when looking for my Golf last year. Most people don't care about their cars and just treat it like something disposable.

I've got a mk6 which is basically a mk5 with a facelift. It really is a lovely car to sit in and to drive. If it's your only car then the Corrado simply can't compete. I am disappointed about the build quality compared to my previous mk4 though. I've also had rust issues on the tailgate (fixed under warranty) which is disappointing for a 4 year old car. Lovely to drive though and quick.

2.8 4motion dressed up look like an R. Cat D or C (probably stolen interior hence Recaros). Massively clocked. V5 won't be present. Any or all of those.

Yes I'm expecting that to be the reason rather than anything intentionally dodgy but wanted to make people aware the picture isn't of the actual seats in case they would be travelling far. The pic looks grey but they are much more black in real life. They look great and really are comfy.

What what a nice surprise to find someone asking about the car :) I will upload some in a day or two when I can get on my PC (currently on my tablet). Honestly it's not the quality close up that I would like but happy to share some more pics. Not yet. I came quite close but I can't quite bring myself to do it. I guess I went through a period of not quite feeling it for the car as we as we all do occasionally. But as I can just leave it in the garage it's not a big deal and it still gives me a little thrill every time I park the golf and see it. Funnily enough I charged the battery today as I need a second car tomorrow. My wife needs the golf to take my daughter to a friend party and I need to take my son to a test day for a new school we want to get him into. Knowing the area all the other parents will turn up in 4x4 range rovers and I'll rock up in a 19 year old VW Coupe. But money can't buy taste :). After charging the battery it started on the button and sitting in it reminded me why I bought it. It's not going anywhere yet even if it just sits in the garage for now :)

Wow you're actually really lucky there as it could have been a LOT worse. A car can be replaced but a person can't.
