Wish it was me. My favourite wheel for the Corrado - the 17" look better than the 16" for some reason. Bugger missed them :(
-
I haven't taken mine for a proper drive for a few weeks and I'm missing it like hell. Roll on spring, some dry and sunny days and a few spare hours for a hoon
-
I don't use mine as a daily but equally I don't lay it up over winter and try to take it out every week or fortnight (although I really haven't used it much recently due to wanting to keep it off salty roads). But I think that nowadays modern cars are so much more comfortable and easy to drive that I wouldn't want the Corrado to be my daily. I'm sure I'd be constantly worried about something failing and only using it occasionally means that it's a real event and a pleasure when I do take it out. So mine is a regular driver even through winter, but not my regular daily. My other car is now a mk6 GTI and I managed to get 45mpg on the way up from Surrey to Norfolk this weekend, which would be impossible in the Corrado.

I've got a 3 hour drive later today so will give this a try on route :)

Sorry didn't see this last question. I will take a look shortly and come back. ---------- Post added at 11:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:46 PM ---------- I took some pictures and drew a terrible diagram of the wire colours going into the relays: Note: 1) Sorry I forgot to draw couple of empty pins on the right hand relay at the top (should be obvious but shout if it isn't and I will draw it again). 2) There is also a brown wire (earth I assume) coming off the loom at the same point but does not go into the relays. This will go to an earthing point.

Thanks. I did consider using an aftermarket kit but decided to hold out for original parts so it plugs in as oem. That way if I ever change thw seats for leather then its a simple matter to swap and different plugs wont be an issue. Also emu might mean £110 for the entire loom including relays as thats about what they sell for (give or take).
-
I put the part numbers including the relays in a recent thread here: http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?78277-Heated-seat-module-part-number

Thread delivers. Would read again :)

Maybe The Corrado Forum could branch out into internet dating. It would certainly help cover running costs for the site

I got one from Eurocarparts I think. I did fit it and swapped it back out again as mine was not faulty after all. However I did notice it was slightly noisier than the OEM motor. So just a heads up that the OEM ones do seem to be a little quieter than others.

^^ Good find. But I think that Clarke range is the equivalent of the Halfords Advance range rather than their Industrial range. Happy to be corrected though. The Industrial range are apparently much more sturdy compared to the Advanced range, and have latchable drawers so they don't open if you push the cabinet around. Generally much better construction.

Found this: Halfords industrial cabinets - these are their top end range: Normal Price Halfords Industrial 6 Drawer Ball Bearing Tool Chest - £259.99 Halfords Industrial 6 Drawer Ball Bearing Tool Cabinet - £349.99 Total = £609.98 Deal Price - Expires midnight When bought together they currently cost £299.99 (doesn't expire tomorrow) Christmas day - 10% extra discount Quidco cashback - 3.5% Total when bought through Quidco = £260.54 (saving £349.44) With free delivery too.

Very merry christmas and happy new corrado day :)

Welcome. There are early and late wings, bonnet and front bumper. Generally speaking up to 92 is the early type and 93 onwards was the later type to accommodate the larger VR6 engine. There may be some crossover for 93 though. There are also different slam panels for g60, valver and VR6.

Thanks. Was looking for the one for the space saver so I will pass.

Is the carpet for a space saver wheel or full size?
-
Is this the Bentley manual or something different?

Events 2013 Corrado Club, get your name down
Portent replied to Tempest's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Righto, I'm going to try to make quite a few events this year so I'm now registered for: Crystal Palace AGM Stanford Hall Castle Combe 25th event (not listed above) Not yet sure about GTI International. I used to love the event back in the 90's but undecided now. Very interested in the Netherlands trip but not yet signed up as I need to look at costs a little more. Definitely keen though. -
Silicone sealant? It acts like glue, is waterproof, but just peels away quite easily when dry if you want to remove it.

How about blowing all the surplus funds on a car. Oh wait... ;) -
CCGB Membership Fee Discussion Now Here: http://www.corradoclub.org/
Portent replied to vornwend's topic in Off-topic Chat
I'm happy to pay the proposed membership fee of £15. It's still small considering the paper based Sprinter and the club stands through the year. Although there is a surplus currently but it's on a downward trend and I'd prefer not to have the club run on a shoestring. -
Loving the period VW advert (a US one judging by the phone number on it).

Ahah so that's your car. I'm sure I've seen that on the A3 near me back in the summer.
