Would be great to see cav win on the champs elysee and wiggins take the overall win
-
I don't know a huge amount about cycling, can Team Sky support Wiggins to the overall win AND get Cavendish in the right positions in the sprints?
-
Not to be driven by Michele Mouton either.

Butterflys Blackberry... car of the 90's

Congratulations. Having reached the pinnacle are you planning to sell and start again? -
I would love a Nissan GTR but I am not a good enough driver / don't drive enough to warrant one. Like when I had a GSXR750 for a while - I loved it and really enjoyed the track days I did on it but I didn't get the best out of it.

I was considered boring when I have a 1.6 Golf but quite cool for having a Corrado, my wife is called a tart by her colleagues for driving an R32, she was called middle aged for having a 1.6 Leon and a poseuse for driving a convertible 3 series.

Beautiful - love the wheels but don't envy you trying to keep them clean! -
Ah - thanks very much. Not registered on Vagcat.

Picked up my "new" splitter today plus a box of other goodies. One of which is a brand new in box mirror that doesn't fit either side of my 93 vr6. The part number on the back is 322 857 521 which I am struggling to find a pertaining to a specific model. Any ideas VW experts? Thanks

"I were right about that saddle"

Spotted yesterday (6th June) around 1430 on the M1 northbound, north of Leicester Forest (not sure how far north!), green L reg Corrado. My 14 year old was heading to Yorkshire with the wife and texted me! Dedication.

Keep the Flash Red faith! Looks great! -
Having seen lots of brand new cars in white recently and not liked them, I was pleasantly surprised at how good the four white Corrados looked at the CCGB Brooklands day meet recently. So a thumbs up from me - looks great!

I'll go and grease mine up then - I spent so long d!cking around removing the bit of metal to get the pin out I sort of rushed the last bit. All greased up with nice fresh grease now.
-
What part do you grease up please?

National Day 2012: Sunday 20 May: Brooklands

I'd like to echo the sentiments of others. Really good to see so many cars there and to meet so many people. Well done committee! Good to see four reds and four whites amongst the blues greens blacks and blackberries. Even saw the Nugget (G???UGU) from round the corner from my parents. -
That has got us all thinking and doing our sums . . .

Mk5 R32, drivers wing mirror has been folded in and flung back out too many times as the glass was hanging loose on the backing plate, only being held on at the top. Discovered Thursday night so used a double sided sticky tab - the type to attaching a number plate - to reattach. This is a temporary fix. What should I really do? Remove the backing plate from the housing, unplug wires and use some sort of contact adhesive? Concerned about the heating and glue situation. Advice please people! Thanks in advace.

Let's have a party on Sunday to celebrate!

How do you put a price on that I wonder? And what can I get for a kidney?

Plus one! -
Got my VCDS Lite that scans the VR6 fine, but got a problem on the MkV R32 and it doesn't want to know. The Chassis list only goes as far as Golf/Bora MkIV - is this the obvious reason why? Is there a version that works with both OLD and NEW cars?
-
what a shame to see a storm in that state! Leave well alone

I also love the spoiler going up (which mine still does!)

My family have been serial VW people, I came home from hospital in a Variant, we had Beetle after Beetle, a 411e, Passats, Golfs, Polos, Sciroccos etc etc My cars were Polos, a Passat when my daughter came along, then company cars, then a Golf. In 1993 my boss had a VR6 as his company car and I was insanely jealous. Then when I decided motorbikes were not really for me any longer, I sold the bike and the Golf and bought a VR6. I just suddenly decided I HAD to have a VR6.
