if the handbrake cable was installed before bleeding rear brakes, it can cause the calipers to do this, i know this as skoda is the same, rear callipers may need replacing!

one more peice of advise, the screen fitters may offer you a modifyed type screen with no plastic trim bits either side, and a new modified seal, do not except it ,it looks sh*t and tacky, :( get the factory look one instead.

exhaust blowing... EDIT: stainless manifold query
volksworld13 replied to krnau's topic in Engine Bay
you should be fine, youll no doubt be wrestling with the corroded manifold nuts/studs, get a decent set of nut busters that can knurl into them if they round off., id prob order a set of studs and nuts ,if i was replacing the manifold gasket , ect. -

the steering wheels are getting old now 15+ years, they do start deteriorating with age and use, currently looking for a coachwork trimmer to re-leather, and get a group discount, check the newest threads/new posts. if theres enough interest we could get a good deal. new steering wheels from vw are about £250 300 mark

yeah windscreens are still available through the dealers .mega bucks though bout 400 quid, your best bet is to claim through your insurance, myn is 80 quid for a screen, rac fit em, but be weary remove your a pillar trims and scuttle yourself as they can break them, a pillar trim are now obsolete and ive seen them cut up the sides and damage them. personally i would leave to screen fitters, as it is a bonded screen, but i think a few people have attempted them selfs, !

ideal as long as its in good nick and not wet, that be great, ideally just need the drivers side underlay!

ok, does anyone know of a good retrimmer, nice black leather would be very nice on the palms, group buy, all the corrados would look new inside again, the steering wheel does show the age of the vehicle, when driving, it would def be worth sorting something out!! :D :D

and thats what i sort of love about the corrado ,only a handfull of people know about them, like on this forum, i suppose if every one knew about the c, they may of owned one!

just wondered if anybody know any good re-trimmers, who someone could get in contact with, to do all the corrado steering wheels , retrim the with new black leather, as the old leather on top of the wheel drys and cracks, if there was enough interest, we could get a group discount, send your wheel away get back looking like new? what does everyone think? :?

id prob test your coolant temp sensor, using an ohmeter, this is used for cold start enrichment, these are common for failing.
