I didn’t encounter any problems, I changed mine around 5 years ago I think .
-
Ah I see . Hope you find some . I thought I would need some parts last week, the only clocks on eBay were from abroad, holy crap they want some dough!.
-
Glad I’ve got a spare pair then . I removed mine the other day. I was very careful to catch them when they fly off on removal.
-
What do you mean by tips ?.
-
I agree with Dox . It’s only a personal thing but I think the after market lights are a no . If the bulbs dont get it through an mot ,I would go for the lense refurbishment.
-
Thanks Sean . Still got The dodgy idle . I haven’t got round to that yet .
-
Your turning the cluster to red ?.
-
I have been converting the switches and clocks back to Oem green . Nice to have it back to standard. I’ve still got the front seats to paint . I’m getting there lol.
-
This could be what’s wrong with mine Sean . It does happen on corners. I’m going through a non interest stage at the moment. I’m doing bits but when I feel like it . Maybe it’s the weather lol .

I thought The Bosch pump was £58.00 or around that price Sean ?. I’ve been looking into getting one as well .
-
Call it a tenner plus pnp . If you still need it pm me your details and I will send it to you .
-
I have an ISV I can send you .
-
Thanks for doing what you are doing to sort out the problem. I’m sure I’m not alone in saying, it’s very much appreciated.

Me and Rog , did this a while back . Mine is still good . I’m saving the original, maybe one day I will use it. An Oem badge is worth its weight in gold . .
-
Thank you , much appreciated.

I’ve dug through the waste bin and found my old film that goes on the top . If I put it back (what’s left of it ) I can see the digital display. I’ve now found out that the red film is underneath the digital display. So I’ve got to remove the circuit board from the white casing to get to the screws that hold them in place . A bloke on the CCGB page has sent me pics . I thought the colour change was done from the top but it’s underneath.
-
What have you used to replace the film please . I’ve just gone back to Oem green, I’ve removed the red plastic film and fitted some green film . I’ve also fitted new bulbs . I know it’s day light and the clocks are not the brightest at best , but I can hardly see the digital clocks at all . I will have another look in the dark but you should still be able to see the digital display in the daylight. Kind regards Rob

Thank you. What’s involved in fitting an led strip please .
-
Thanks chaps .
-
Sorry chaps me again . I’ve put a shout out on the CCGB page as well. Am I right in thinking all the bulbs are the same ?. Now I’ve removed the horrible strip light that was in there I’m left with no bulbs at the top . I take it the blue strip powers the three top bulbs ?.
-
Great info again thank you . Hopefully I will get them sorted soon .
-
Thanks for the info Hasan , much appreciated. I will have to find somewhere to get the bulbs as I can’t tell looking on line . Heritage don’t sell them .
-
Right so even a clear bulb can be coloured then . So I could possibly keep the plastic that goes on the top and source the green bulbs from somewhere. Many thanks Martin, you’ve been a great help.

The bulbs I have from the bottom have a black base but are clear in colour. The film looks like it has no colour either, so how is it lit red ?. I’m confused.
