  1. Can you put a pic up on here or the CCGB page or corrado fb page ?. Mine are new. The passenger side is perfect, but the drivers side has a gap .
  2. PayPal sent Dave . I’ve left my address as well , I case you don’t have it anymore from the last parts I bought from you . Kind regards Rob

  4. Mmmm. Like you say if the coolant is going down and there’s no visible leak. I would have thought it has to be leaking in the engine. It does sound like the head gasket Jim .
  5. Well it’s another problem off the list Jim . Bit like my idle problem.
  6. Fingers crossed for you Jim . The ticking , clicking noise you described did sound like a broken lead or when you remove one lead from the dizzy/coil .
  7. The marks have been polished out today, must have took about 5 minutes. Also we fitted the bump strips.
  8. Thanks Si and Hasan . I think this is where I have gone wrong, or not so to speak. Around 18 months back I had a membrane leak , we all know that once the sound deadening gets wet it stays wet and is a pig to dry out .So I bought the new underlay which is thicker than the Oem stuff . Hence now the reason for the info. I can’t even fit the plastic part on that stops the seat from rocking , not that it does now anyway because it’s tight to the carpet. You can see a mark on the carpet , behind the drivers seat where I’ve pushed the seat back ,this shows you how tight it is .
  9. Last year I bought a carpet from Newton commercial and the delux underlay from Heritage. I also bought the closed cell sticky product that goes straight on the floor pan . For starters the deluxe underlay could not be used as its too bulky, so I had to change it to one layer . The carpet was hard to fit as it’s thicker than the Oem carpet and not very forgiving over the humps and moulds of the floor pan . It also joins in the middle of the car so the join can be seen . Can anyone tell me as I can’t remember, did our cars have underlay under the seats ?, or is it just the carpet?. As it is at the moment I have underlay under the seats which makes it hard to slide the seat from outside the car eg for hoovering . I cannot fit the seat runner covers either, it’s just too tight. If I can’t sort this I will be looking for a second hand Oem carpet.Any info is much appreciated as usual.kind regards, Rob
  10. Congrats on your purchase . Loads of help and info on the forum. Welcome along .
  11. Thanks Martin. Resto do awesome work . Yes the pics will appear on the CCGB page as I can’t post pics on here.
  12. It’s time for the winter works to begin. I’ve removed the rear seats and repainting them . Next will be the door cards and front seats . I’m off to resto shack on Saturday for some polishing after l left a plastic sheet on the wings and it rained, then dried and left marks . I’m sure there will be plenty of other jobs for me to do .
  13. I had problems with mine . As Hasan said in the above reply make sure it’s clean and plenty of lube. I the end , after struggling to push it ,push and twist it , I gave in and put a block of wood on the end and tapped it in .
  14. Looking forward to seeing some pics Roger .
  15. Thanks Martin . I was just intrigued to see if it was still around.
  16. I don’t know why ?, this popped into my head tonight. The car used to belong to someone I knew in Devon. I’m sure it went to someone called Karl or Carl ?. The number plate was something like ca88odo ??. It was a blackberry if my memory serves me correctly. Does anyone know if it’s still around?.
