Congrats on pass , but the engine news is a bummer Rog . Out of interest where did you get the track rod ends ? Tps told me they had sold out , got a price from heritage , but in the end I ordered all the underside parts from vedubmachine . If you need a hand on anything and I'm free I will gladly give you a hand mate .

Thanks Sean , if the wrong gaskets come in with the order ie they only have rubber ones i will ring the company you metioned earlier . Edit Tried looking online , AVS ?

Right that's got that sorted lol ! Ian , I will be in touch on Saturday , I've ordered all my stuff , but they are getting the more gaskets in , they won't know which ones until they arrive . I take it the glue / mastic type stuff is used with both types ?

Any body have these in a parts bin ? I have looked for the original sump gasket and it seems you cannot get them now , so I will have to get a rubber one . I've been told the early bolts on my 92 Vr will not be long enough . Many thanks Rob

I'm going up to Gareth's to collect the parts I need for powder coating at some point , will let you know and we can all get together . I just hope Gareth has a large biscuit tin .

Thanks for the comments , I may well have to leave the powder coating of the sump . I did this job first as I wanted to start at the front and work my way back . I can't move the car until it's back on .
