  3. Bit of a rant lol , it is annoying though , they wont be getting good feedback from me , i forgot to mention that the first wheel i put on , i was thinking they look pretty good on the van , i then let the trolly jack down and found the tyre was flat !
  4. I'm just venting my spleen here . Why do people send parts in a s@;t order ????!!!! I ordered a set of oem vag 16" wheels for my t4 as I cannot afford to run the 18s anymore . This was on ebay and nothing what so ever to do with any members on here .I could not believe that state they arrived in . I knew they needed new tyres , kwik fit had to wire brush and clean them so they could fit the tyres . Why can't people send stuff in a reasonable state ? All they had to do was wash the the wheels , I didn't expect pristeen condition , they are second hand but for f??k sake a little clean would not go a miss . Me and Matt broke a valver a few years back , every part was cleaned , so it arrived in good clean condition . Perhaps it's me ? , it's been a tough week .

  11. I have been looking at the underside of the car and have noticed some small areas where the underseal has come away and rust has started to appear . What is the best paint to treat this before i apply the underseal again . Many thanks. Rob

  13. Many thanks for the reply , the car is sorn ATM , but at least I know now that I haven't broken it Rob
  14. Hi all , during removing the front end , I disconnected the power steering pipe where it fits to the pump . I got the car back together tonight , filled up the tank and started the car to check it was running right after the work I had done . The pump started to whine straight away . I turned the wheels back n forth to bleed it and top it up , but even though it's at the right level it's still making a noise . All I have done is drain it and top it up .maybe it's just a coincidence and it was on its way out anyway ? . I can't see how I could of damaged it . Any thoughts? Kind regards Rob
  15. That could be right Jim , as they swopped from dizzy to coil during the updating period , they started on new badges . I've never seen a coil pack car with red badges .
  16. Thats correct James , just looked at my 93 sales brochure and the badges are red , some time in 93 they ran out and swopped to brush chrome .
  17. Scratch the itch mate , but you know your going to come back to one at some point lol , people always do.
  18. Congrats on the win , an amazing car , well done .
  19. Thanks Sean , it will be a while lol. Its going to take some muscle power and a few scraped knuckles !. How is yours coming on by the way ?
  20. The pump is located in the boot under the carpet . You will see a black cover with three screws holding it on . You have two fuel lines that fit onto the fuel rail , the top one is the one you need to remove . Be carefull taking it off ,if you have been cranking the engine and fuel is present ,it will be under pressure and you dont want an eyefull. Once the pipe is removed ,hold a jar with the pipe inside , get someone to crank the car and if fuel is being pushed through you will see it coming out . I cant remember which no the fuel relay is .
