Plenty of advice if you do a search on how to store a c . Yes you can sorn her [new rules though dvla on line ] will tell you whats what .as said do a search ,loads of advice.

Have a look through the search for non starter , had loads of help with mine , turned out to be dirty ecu plug .

Some good work there . I cheated with my carpets ,stuffed em in the washing machine lol.

Also check the seals on the temp senders and rad sender . There is a chance that it will not leak until under preasure .Leave it running in the drive and look for leaks when she starts to get hot .

Sorry if this is a pearoast , but one thing that makes a car price rise is the use of it in a film or tv series. I know the quattro was demanding good dough anyway but they went up even more during and after ashes to ashes . Same thing with the charger [dukes of hazzard] . Now if they made a new series of ashes to ashes and he was saying ''get in the rado !!!'' i bet the prices would rise . Think jim says it all ......its a one off car never to be repeated .This makes it a very special car .

Me too. Its my only hobby . You spend dough on cars because its yours and you want it to run right , look right . I paid out for a full respray last year ,will never get that money back if i wanted to sell , could not give a monkeys .

I have stainless system [cant remember the make , but its an oval stealth quiet system ] . dont know about others on the forum but i think i speak for most of them . The vr has a unique sound . That typical noise of the vr comes from the engine . That is like the vr signature . Sorry if im speaking out of turn but why would you want it to sound like a scooby ?. I live in the southwest .....you see a scooby every ten seconds here , to me they sound like a giant fart goin up the road ! . personaly when the noise comes from the exhaust it normally sounds like a boys car .

Agree with above , i have owned mine for nearly five years now and it has broken down twice . First time was my fault ,i fitted new temp senders and left a rubber seal in one ,so it doubled up when i fitted the new one , when she got to tempreture it blew it straight out the block !.Second time was a build up of crap on the ecu plug . Very reliable car in my opinion .
