Sounds like a nightmare , chin up though mate . Leave it for a few days then start again . Its not like the melted pulley can get any worse .

not very clued up on copy n paste from other threads and did not want to start another . But read danny boys reply on testing the hall sender . Electrics stump me ! how do i put an led on a hall sender to test it ?

Hi all i have a 92 vr and i think the coil has gone , took off the connection to the dizzy and theres no spark . Its been playing up for a while , have cleaned the leads ,replaced plugs and dizzy seems ok . Does coil come in two parts ? tps said it does , im not doubting them but just wanted to check . many thanks rob ---------- Post added at 08:45 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 PM ---------- just done another search could be hall sender problem ?

christ .........before the argument ensues ,can i just point out that i rang nath to find out what it was they were stuck down with, so karl would have a better idea on how to remove it ,lol ,rob

I paid £53.00 each for the strips well worth it though .The plastic end caps which go on the tail gate end are £3.00 . regards rob .

Have always bought genuine parts from tps .Personaly i would only use genuine parts . Dont know about ebay stuff .

jesus what a mess !. can see you goin off to tps for some new roof rubbers soon , just replaced mine . Would meths destroy the gooey mess ?, as above all the rain we have had must have taken its toll on what ever they were stuck down with .

Had mine apart enough times to be able to help ,but the pic is very blurry . If you have the motor in your hand with the connection box still plugged in you can see the cog spinning back and forth ,doing what it does to open close and tilt . The other wire is for the light .

Nice to see you got it sorted , personaly i dont think corrados and sunroofs mix lol, bleedin things are a pain in the arris . Me and a few other forum members had to reset mine after a respray , two sunroof cassettes later it worked . I pushed the closed position at the weekend and its getting stuck again even with grease on the sliders .Think i will just use the tilt !

I thought the storm grill was filled in ? . Mabe someone put one on , matt had one on his vr .

Looking for a leather steering wheel for my 92 vr , were they the same from 92 to 95 ? .Seen a few different styles , just want to be sure i buy the right one . regards rob

thanks guys , yep another year over . I spose as its only a weekend car and only does about 600 miles a year theres not much wear n tear on parts .
