Ok . I'm confused as the link , you put up does not work for me . Which parts are you trying to find , the front or rears ? . My fronts just have a stamp , no part no . The rears are oem , part no 191-615-612-B .
-
Right , so the VW doesn't fit and the Dubmachine part does ? . My receipts are a mess ATM , as far as I'm aware I bought the fronts from Dubmachine . These have a VW AUDI stamp on them , not very clear , but it's there . The rears I'm not sure where they came from , but these have the genuine stickers on them .Are the early parts different , because of the non abs .
-
I've bought the front and rears from dub machine and Heritage in the last few months . I have not tried them yet as I'm slowly buying new parts for the whole of the underside . I'm worried now that they won't fit .

Yes , I don't see why not , sorry bud , I made a mistake , it was the wider tape I used . My bad ! . I didn't cut it down though .
-
I used the rope butyl tape I work with all the time , to seal mine . You can by it online from Pam ties . You may get cheaper I'm not sure . We use it in the damproofing game . So it's obviously water proof and sticks very well , you can also peal it back if the need arises .

Really gone to town on selling that .
-
£80.00!!! .Holy crap , I don't think I paid anywhere near that for all three . Have you tried TPS .

They changed the colour for it Jim . Sorry I should have mentioned that , I found out when I changed mine .

VR6 ABV crank position sensor question - now fuel pressure issue

Yes I believe they can swopped over . So , you need a second hand later fuel pump , remove the sender from that , to the new one . VW , swopped the pumps in early 93 . -
You will need a fuel pressure pump Jim . Probably best to get the garage to do it , it will cost you less than the tester and you probably won't use it again . If the pressure is fine that rules out the pump and points to the FPR .

I would change the senders Jim . Mine was registering 73d on the vagcom from cold , although not totally knackered , it was on it's way out and therefore sending the wrong signal to the ECU , so there was no fast idle from cold . If yours is Broken that's not going to help . You mentioned the coil pack . I don't know if you have ruled it out ? I doubt it would be the problem , if it was lumpy in start up , it would be lumpy all the time as well as when you have your foot on the throttle .

Looking lovely . I do love a Corrado in this colour .

If only it were possible to hold on to all our cars we have bought over the years . One of my first cars was a MK1 Zodiac , the prices of those now , I sold it in 92 for two grand ! .ok so it's not a modern classic but still .
-
Yep . I forgot to add I did grease it to .
-
Mine would open , but then stutter as it was closing . I changed the motor and it works fine .
-
When it's open , have a look a the moving parts , you will see if anything is broken . If not get some grease on it , I believe there is a proper can for this . Next I would replace the motor . Easy job . Have a look at the search , it will tell you all you need to know .
