I'm assuming the Lidl three-bird roast advert is for a different type of roast to the three-bird roast in the video I watched late last night...

I got arrested in Switzerland for murder today. I said to the police, "I thought assisted suicide wasn't against the law here?" The officer replied, "Under Swiss law, assisted suicides require medical supervision. You strangled your wife as soon as the plane touched down."

Sad day as another Corrado, mine, gets written off
VR-Sixy replied to larceny fink's topic in General Car Chat
Always sad to hear of there being one less Corrado on the road - but at least you're still in one piece - not withstanding the naused up leg. Hope you get better very soon. Sadly, there are too many idiot drivers on the roads these days and this would appear to be yet another example. For 3 out of 5 nights last week, there were accidents on the A3 between New Malden and the Hook Underpass while i was driving home from work. No doubt, all down to carelessness and unattentive driving. -
Man, i bet Gollum goes absolutely bananas on the 5th day of Christmas!

sickipedia.org. A very bad taste joke website which is not for the faint of heart! Don't say i didn't warn you!! :)

Just got a Bonnie Tyler Sat-Nav from Halfords. It keeps telling me to turn around, and every now and then it falls apart.

Every Christmas for over thirty years the same bloke takes money off the population while inflicting terrible misery on us and nothing can be done about it. Hope you are proud of yourself Noddy Holder.

Picture sent this morning. Hope it makes it.

Another vote for the opinion of Mr Bacon! The local freebie rag (The Metro) indicated that the costs to actually pay your road tax (and yes, it is a tax despite it being disguised as vehicle emissions 'duty') would be coming down. When has any bloody government given anyone anything?

I'll see if i can get it from the garage.

And this gentleman wins the prize!! Turned out to be the Crank Sensor. New one fitted, fires up first time, every time. Picking him up from the doctors this evening. It'll be so good to get my Corrado back... i'm almost in tears!!

LOLZ. It happens!! The guys from the garage are picking it up today - hopefully they'll get it sorted before the weekend.

I only had a new battery put in earlier this year. And it turns the engine over like a good'un. It's really not this.... promise.

Well, after not being able to get to the bottom of this, and having replaced the relays 109 and 167, Senor Corrado finally died this morning and decided he wasn't going to start. I can't feel any of the relays clicking when I turn the engine over with my hand on the relay panel, but I can certainly hear something clicking? Someone mentioned a crank sensor - where is this? Cheers

One pair of rather knackered front bearings replaced. Apparently, they were well w**kered. :)

Got Senor Corrado through the MOT this week, so all good for another year. While he was at the garage, I got the geezers to fit my new rear clusters which i'm very pleased with....... 'ave a pic!! Think they look good on a darker coloured Corrado. Thanks to Steve in Deepest Wales for the sale. :) :)

Blue and red for me as well. My heater lights haven't worked for a long time - do they need to be working for this to work, or is it a completely independent power source? Thanks
-
Thanks Steve. Arrived today. And very pleased with them I am. Cheers Nick.

Blue tinted/american spec wing mirror glass
VR-Sixy replied to samthegram's topic in Suppliers Forum
Just had a thought about this - can the stuff that's used to tint windows not be used on the wing mirror glass? Found some light blue tint film which is quite cheap on fleabay, and all you would need is a sharp Stanley knife to trim it off. Sounds like a cheap fix to me....... :) ***edit*** just seen geoffersmaher's post in the what i did to my Corrado today thread...... DOH!!!!!!!! -
PM'd you Stevec14 Ta!

MK4 Climatronic/AC conversion - what parts needed?
VR-Sixy replied to eugopnosaj's topic in Interior
There is a quite comprehensive thread about this somewhere on here. I remember commenting about quite a while ago. -
Doubt it. Sadly........
