Kips is exceptional, and a frequent concourse winner. But I'm not sure what sort of money he'd take to move it on.

I'm only just realising what a mountain of work I've landed on myself... :( -
What is your budget?

When the order is actually in, I'll run through the thread in order for the people that asked and PM them all. I'll sell out the first batch of 60 and then put in another order if that's been successful and keep going till everyone that wants a set (or three) gets a set. -

My initial order is for 60 pairs and is clearly going to be nowhere near enough.. I might see about increasing the order. Will see how it goes over the next few days. -

Excellent, thanks! Had a really good few days, and thankfully the E38 I bought held up for the whole trip no problems :) -

Right. We're back on again. For whatever reason it seems my previous emails never got through, but a follow up email yesterday got a prompt response this morning. Pricing is becoming a little clearer now - I hope to be able to do these for about £12-£13 posted. The CCGB is very kindly fronting the money for this order to minimise risk to myself so as part of that I intend to try and factor in a small discount for current CCGB members who order a pair - seems the fairest thing to do. And again I want to stress I / we are not trying to run this as a profit making exercise - we purely want to break even so it will be as close to cost (plus postage & postage materials) as possible. Keep your eyes peeled - hopefully this will be getting off the ground very shortly. Thanks for your patience! -
Good news mate :)

Correct :)

It's just in the Engine Bay forum - if you skim down the list of stickies, it's easy to spot :) http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=38824

Halfords Trade Card always gives very decent discount on 'service' bits - bulbs, wiper blades, batteries, etc. I was fortunate enough to manage to bag one at my local Halfords (went to school with the guy and he was a VW enthusiast so he was happy to help me out!) but I know it can be a bit of a lottery to try and get one!

Welcome aboard, and good luck - I'd say you've got plenty to keep you busy there! I'd strongly recommend ditching that cone filter and going back to the stock airbox to help preserve your G-Charger!

I was out of the country ;) A drop off would be awesome - let me know :)

Seems fair enough to me :) Let me know once you have the pricing for shipping and I'll send some money. Not in a big hurry for the parts or anything.

Ah yes! How much would you want for both the manifold and cover posted?
-
Hello mate - is this still for sale?

solved. nasty noises when fired for 1st time in months and after plenty of work
Jim replied to VAG-hag's topic in Engine Bay
Yeah - try this out. The PAS pump can make some horrendous noise, as can the alternator. Eliminating all things driven off the aux belt for a few seconds will help you narrow it down quickly. You'll also know then as hand spinning each item driven off the belt, you should be able to immediately hear noise or feel excessive resistance. -
The G60 does have a charm of it's own, no doubt about it.. but if you've already fallen for the noise of the VR, then you're pretty much suckered in :)

The beige leather recaro's are worth half the asking price alone! Agreed it does seem a little cheap. Well worth a look IMHO.

What design features of the Corrado keeps it so "upto date"?
Jim replied to Mawrick's topic in Off-topic Chat
I find this sometimes. Some days I look at the car parked up and think how fresh it looks, and then some days I park it up next to newer stuff and think "Damn, the Corrado is starting to look old!" - but it's not just the exterior but interior too. Go in anything more modern and the quality and fitment of the trim (say on a new Golf) makes it seem like the starship enterprise compared to the old switchgear in the Corrado! :) -
Always wanted one of these. Cracking :)

Apologies, Kyle. For some reason the forum software has stopped telling us when new posts are awaiting moderation - so we simply don't know that posts need approving. I'll have a hunt and try find your other posts to approve. And also let the admin know about this problem :) Cheers.
