Just back in the door from a really good day out :) Not the most numbers ever but we were saved from embarrassment really by charging extra for each run which, overall, made the day more worthwhile from Stealth's point of view. Great to catch up with folks as always, and especially memorable from my point of view because of RedTyphoon's Corrado R32 Turbo which made a scarcely believable 510BHP on the rollers. Most power I've ever seen in a Corrado so worth going to the day just to see it in action. Amazing. All wrapped up with a cracking Sunday lunch up the road - not a bad Sunday as they go really! :) Thanks everyone. For the folks that paid, and didn't make it for various reasons - if you want your money refunding then fair enough alternatively I'll put some of it towards the cost of the cakes I bought for the day, and donate the rest to the forum - let me know what you want to do. I'll put up a list of the power results later! Thanks.

Be interested to hear how you get on with the Audi, Andy. Would be quite nice to be able to break the 'spell' of the Corrado, but I can just never find stuff for similar money that delivers in the same way!

In case you were considering one of these from Volkswagen, I tried to order one a month or so ago - went onto back order and would have cost about £90.. :(

Yeah - I have a feeling you can still buy them from VW Classic Parts in Germany..

Good news - he's done some more :) What a legend :)

Yeah should be fine but I think I'll have to say that any folks who turn up on the day have to pay the same as everyone else paid - it wouldn't be fair for everyone who paid in advance to help get the day up and running having to pay more. So price for the runs will be £33.33 (which is what everyone else has paid so far, up from the normal price of £25), and anyone who pays on the day, the money will go to cover the cost of cakes I plan to buy for the day, and then any left over I'll turn into a donation to the forum.

I'd be up for this too as long as it could be installed by dummies :) I think I'd quite like green for the outer dials and blue->red for the temperature dial :)

"So you cooked up a story and dropped the six of us in the meat grinder.." One of my favourite movies of all time as well - a classic no doubt about it. Will stop cluttering up your thread now n3p ;)

It's always a good time for a Predator quote :)

Not sure but I know his name is Ray (posts as ray_vr6 on here) so keep your eyes peeled for him :)

Welcome to the forum! There's another Corrado owner on Skye - you'll have to get a regional meet-up going! :) What's the deal with the charger then.. blown up?
