Possible corrado script production ,feed back please
Jim replied to robrado974's topic in Suppliers Forum
Firstly - thanks for looking into doing this :) For me personally, I have to be honest and say I think it's a deal breaker if the pegs can't be made as part of the moulds. Worth mentioning though that you can still buy the Corrado badge from Volkswagen for a not unreasonable price (in primer) so if we could find a company that could just do the original style brushed chrome effect on a batch of badges in primer, that might be another option? But either way I'd definitely have one to put away as a spare, IF the chrome finish matched the original in terms of finish and coverage (i.e. only the top half of the badge was chromed, not the entire badge). -
Great to hear you've come back again Mike - and with your old car no less :)

Can't you report the family to the council or something? It's ridiculous you have to keep putting up with this! You should keep recording all incidents of damage to your car and submit it to the council as I think it's gone beyond being acceptable.

for sale Forrest green 1.8 16v for £1400 in Lowestoft, suffolk
Jim replied to J-ME's topic in Cars for Sale [Corrado]
Either that's one of the last 1.8 16v's or it might actually be a 2.0 16v? I've never seen a 1.8 on a J plate before! -
Didn't expect that! Welcome back to the fold Mic! :)

Just done a nearly 1000 mile round trip up to Glasgow, round to Oban and surrounding areas.. saw one Corrado the whole time. Very clean looking N reg VR6 on Speedlines heading southbound on the M74 not far out of Glasgow on Saturday afternoon evening - sadly only in a hire car so no flash / wave from me to get your attention!
-
More VR6 issues, horrible clattering started randomly when driving

Wondering if something weird like a timing chain tensioner has broken or something? Either way sounds like a nightmare - please keep us updated as and when you get it looked into as it'd be useful information for the forum. -
Sub 100k G60's are not especially common now mate... in fact G60's in general seem a lot less common these days. But assuming one came up I'd expect to budget about 3.5k-4.0k for a nice cherished one, and assuming you're thinking a 2.0 16v, then perhaps 2.5k.

Hopefully we've all moved on a bit from tellings off and fallings out - that was a few years ago! Look forward to seeing what project you take on.

I don't understand who these idiots are on the road. They must have very, very messed up lives to go around trying to actually pick fights with other motorists. Often think about keeping something like a full size maglight in the car just in case I end up in an encounter with one of these knuckle draggers!!

Hello again Furkz... ;-)

There has just been a reasonably lengthy discussion about this! :) http://direct.the-corrado.net/showthread.php?66805-Injector-cleaning (General verdict is that Mr Injector is the man to talk to!)

Possibly a CV joint..?

Ah Coventry! A local! Never seen your Corrado around though.. Very cool tattoo :-)

I like the standard chrome VW badge, Corrado badge and engine designation badges on the back - don't find it too bling at all personally.

Just had a PM to confirm it was him.... rather pleased with my Corrado (owner) spotting ;) -
Headlight leveller motors might be pretty rare.. not sure I've ever seen or heard of them on a Corrado?
-
What's the funny that I'm missing? The styling isn't to my taste but it doesn't look like the car has been badly done by any stretch of the imagination.
