    Yep - outside temp sensor. Have a look down the bottom of the bumper on the drivers side - you should see it in there :)

    Proof once again how little external modification the Corrado needs to look amazing - lowered, clean wheels, and gleaming paintwork and it looks utterly sublime. Good luck with the sale!

    Pleased to say that whilst paracetamol did nothing, ibuprofen based lemsip tablets took the edge right off..

    Hopefully am on the other side of a grim few days of man flu (started Monday, but I did soldier into work), which culminated in some gargantuan migrane today - I've only just managed to haul myself out of bed. Ugh. I hate this time of year!

    It's one thing I've never managed to work out if I'm honest! The only way I've found to successfully stop it wiping once it gets going is to press the stalk in again when it's mid way through a wipe. My VR6 has a de-wipered rear though to that's a problem I don't have to worry about now :)

    This seems to be one of the best kept Corrado secrets. Along with how to control the fricking rear wiper :)

    Nowt wrong with that Saxo. It was a good little car! It only seemed to be you lot that had a problem with it. I left it it totally untouched except for a headunit and an alarm and had a lot of fun with it :)

    Do you get people trying to race you whenever you take it out for a drive? Do you get much hassle, or do you find people like it cause it's British?

    I remember as a kid we went to buy a Saab 900 - and on the way home found the owner had left a Huey Lewis and the News cassette in the tape deck :) Never really found anything in any of my Corrado's though!

    No facilities to wash my car at home these days so find myself increasingly using some good hand car-washes in the area. Have taken numerous cars there with no comments before, but took the Corrado the other day and had them asking about it! "Nice car, boss! What engine?" "2.9 litre VR6" - "2.9 litre! wow!" etc etc :) Nice to get some chufties for a change!

    This part was still available from VW when I bought it several years ago, and wasn't a bank busting amount... if a pre-owned one doesn't turn up :)

    I'd have another to put away and I know for a fact that Dude VR6 wants one, and I think another friend of mine was after one so... I'd be a yes for at least two or three :)

    :lol: Well to be fair I've been expecting it for a while Andy. You must have owned more Corrado's than anyone else on this forum so it was only a matter of time. I'm sad at the prospect of you leaving the community for good though really.. :( You've been around for a long time and always good to catch up with you at meets.

    I misplaced the receipt straight after buying it, and it pretty much died the second time I used it. I just relegated it to the back of the garage in disgust.

    Hate to say it, but could you not take him to small claims court? Can't understand the mentality of someone who'd do this - so good luck. It's fortunate you got the written receipt with dates of the payment and the agreement you made - I don't see why that wouldn't stand up in court.
