not much help but ive just put 15w 40w mineral oil in my corrado.i had a prob with ticking tappets when cold.its sorted the prob.so thicker oil could be the cure

ive got 2 round ends and 2 pipes coming off on my kr.i had to get 1 pipe welded extra for the tick over thing

when i 1st got my car i had a major leak in the same place as yours.it was coming out the top of the oil presure switch where the termial fits

the kr engine def needs 2 pipes coming off it.i had to get 1 welded to mine to make it fit.

update on the oil.i left car over 24 hours and it started with no tappet noise :D

ive put the 15w 40w in and it seems fine but the engine was warm.i will find out when its cold

it only ticks when its cold,once its warm its fine.i am going to stick some 15w 40w in and try it.

shall i try some 15w 40w then,i reckon it wont drain out the tappets as quick when the cars standing

i think i will try the 15w 40w.when you think about it i bet they put that in it when it got seviced when it was new

its got semi syn in it now,but thought 15w 40w mite be beter as its a bit thicker

ive got a 1.8kr.the tappets make a noise untill its got to its normal temp.ive been using 10w 40w semi in it.ive been thinking of useing 15w 40w mineral .has anyone else used this.i thought it might stay in the tappets longer

i wouldnt say i drive it that hard,never spin the wheels.i think they should do more than a 1000 miles.its going to my local garage to get it on the ramp sat

i used aftermarket which i got off ebay but to be fare they looked ok.

hi ive got a 1990 1.8 kr engine.when i bought the car about 7 months ago the engine mounts seemed worn,so i changed the 3 of them to be sure.it seemed a lot beter but not 100% but i put that down to driveing a newer van aswell.ive since done a max 1000 mile and now it seems the mounts are worn again,i can feel the engine rocking on tick over and in reverse.any ideas :help:

ive read on here some people use green bulbs :shrug:

i think they stretch and go out of shape,mines been off before and it dont look right.i might leave them off tho just want to see a good pic of a white corrado with them taken off

the door mouldings dont go back on very nice once they have been taken off.
