How much did you get the sunroof motor for? And where from?

Do these fit the later corrado's ok? I ask as i managed to get one a while ago (for free) and it clipped on to the sunroof switch trim but i cant deploy it as it hits the rear view mirror.

Not fussed what corrado its from but the power steering pipes that go into it must be in decent condition as this is the part im really after. Let me know what you got. Thanks Krishen

Ah ok. What im actually after are the pipes that attach to the rack. Not too fussed what condition the actual rack is in but the pipes need to be decent. Found thats where my leak is coming from. Happy to pay £30 but how much do you reckon postage is going to be? Your not popping down to your cousin any time soon are you? Krishen

Managed to finally replace my headlight bulbs yesterday. New bulbs with the uprated loom made such a difference. Lights look white as opposed to yellow. And fitted a BMC CDA induction kit. OMG absolutely amazing. Can't stop smiling :-)

I had this issue. Would have to push the switch a number of times to slide open or close the sunroof. Replaced the motor (scrappies £15) and been working fine ever since.

Will check have a look for this damn clip on the weekend. Also as expensive as it is, may need to fork out for a bently manual. Will probably save me breaking things in the future. Cheers guys.

Guys how in the world do you get the handbrake cover off? I cant seem to remove the handle in order to remove the plastic strip. As you can see i may have butchered this a bit.

Mmm. Right i don't even have a 'fob'. Just a standard key with no black chip/block. Will get a pic loaded later so you can see what im on about.

Ah ok. Ive got a 1995 vr6 so assume its got an immobiliser although i cant see a chip in the key Does this mean if i want a new key i need to get it coded?

Hi, Just wondering if there was any standard security on these cars? Reason i ask is that i don't seem to have any alarm, immobiliser or even a fob. Just have one plain simple key. Keep reading threads about people having issues with their factory alarms and/or immobiliser so were they extras when original owners bought the car? Krishen

I assume your talking about 288mm calipers. The calipers will fit but the carriers won't. Need to get them off a Mk3 golf.

Ok. Looks like i managed to win a PAS rack with the pipes off ebay. For the time being thinking of just replacing the pipes. Later (when i have some time and money) getting the rack refurbed. Can anyone recommend a place to get the rack refurbed?

I think i may be that the motor is not in correct position. Easy to sort out. Just tilt the sunroof to its fully tilt position (using sunroof switch). If the motor is not in the correct position it won't tilt open fully. You can then manually (with an allen key) open the sunroof to its fully tilt position. Now the motor will be set at the correct position. Try your alarm again and it should work fine.

They do look very nice. How much do they work out to? Also do the ones from the dealers come with "Corrado" stitched on them?
