72 is the Rear Wiper Relay 99 is the Wash wipe Intermittent Relay 18 is the load Reduction Relay A number of these relays have PCB's that have electrolytic capacitors installed. These capacitors are getting to the end of their natural life cycle. I have replaced all mine (+ those in the Engine and ABS ECU) + Re-flowed a lot of bad solder joints. The mechanical coil / switch assembly is generally very reliable. If there is any interest I can build a guide with photos?

I'd get some pics up. If they are badly in need of refurbishment @ £40 a wheel + tyres you're going to be in to the tune of £280 to £320 on top of the asking price.

Simples...motorsport and the multiplication factor applied to forced induction. The capacity was reduced to stop them moving up a class. The Golf G60 uses the PG engine.

The 1H engine used in the Rallye is 1763cc and used a 80.6mm piston. The PG engine in the Corrado is 1781cc and uses a 81mm piston.

Removed from the G60 I broke for spares. I have the alarm, siren, 2 keyfobs, ultrasonic sensors and the wiring loom (inc LED). I didn't mark the wires so doubtful if this can be re-used. Happy to post if you cover the costs. Going to the Recycling Centre at the weekend if no interest.

Have you checked you have a spark at the plugs? In the summer a brand new rotor arm failed on my G60 less than 100 miles after fitting. The spark was going to earth through the distributor. Same type of symptom as you. One minute running the next not and complete refusal to start.

If you own a multi-meter its fairly easy to check the current draw to see if its excessive. The usual culprits are glove box, boot lights aftermarket stereos and alarms. I have to agree with the previous post, I'm not surprised if unused for 2 months it's flat.

I have a pair of Lupo? Wipers for sale. The arms are p/n 6x2 955 410C. Drivers side is fitted with a 19 inch blade, passenger measures just over 17. Pictured without the push fit covers however these are included in the sale. Looking for £50 +P&P

I have an SPL BVC4.1 4 channel amp, 2x 2 way cross-overs, a length of 1050/0.16mm cable and a 40 amp fuse in a holder for sale. Cosmetic condition of the amp is average. It a 5 channel amp but i'd (personally) ignore the 1700 watts printed on the top panel. That is just a tad optimistic. Looking for £20 for everything + P&P

What needs doing and is it just labour you need? How about waiting until the spring is here. Organize a weekend 3-4 people are free. I'm sure there will be plenty of volunteers to help out.
