What’s the weirdest EBay Feedback you’ve ever received?

This is from Transformers the animated movie! Classic! -
21 Jump Street - 8/10. So much better than I was expecting. If you thought Jonah Hill was funny in Superbad you'll like this.

Wanted to see it for ages but only just got around to seeing it. Warrior. I thought it was an amazing film. Tom Hardy outstanding as usual. I'd never heard of Joel Edgerton but he was great too. And Nick Nolte perfectly cast as their father. I'm not ashamed of saying a shed a few man tears at the end. 9/10. Recommended. Also saw Ted at pictures yesterday. 7/10. As usual I got my expectations way too high but I still thought it was brilliant.

I'd recommend it, Jim. I passed my test in 1998 doing the 3 day course as I'd always wanted to ride big bikes since I was a kid. I found it pretty straightforward. I thought I'd messed up the test when I forgot to cancel my indicator after a corner for what was probably just a few seconds (seemed liked ages). But the former army colonel who was my examiner gave me a pass! Result. I'm not into sports bikes really, more like sports tourers. Can't wait to get my new garage built so I can buy my next bike and will hopefully go over to Europe with the missus.

There's one that's on at the moment that particularly grates on me for some reason. It's for a car I think and has that song "ever fallen in love with someone, ever fallen in love, love with someone, ever fallen in love, in love with someone..."...I f*cking hate that song. And the the galling thing is that the song gets stuck in my head and I find myself singing it when i really hate it!!! Aaaaaargh!

If I had a spare £44k I'd love one! Clicky

Dropped off the C at the dealership for it's MOT and jumped into my girlfriends new ride...a lovely mkiv Toyota Supra. Got the call a few hours later...failed. Drivers side CV boot and handbrake efficiency fail on rear passenger side. Rear pads also 80% worn so they're gonna change them but not a fail. Felt aggrieved for a bit but then remembered that it's 20 years old this year so can't really complain. That silky smooth Supra autobox made me feel better.

Maybe it's the sign of the sign of the times we live in.........

Sorry to hear about Dingo. I have two dogs called Bailey & Digby. And although I mooch at them they're basically my two kids and I'd do anything for them. They're part of the family. Some non pet owners don't get it and never will. -
Super 8 - thought it was brilliant. I'm a little confused by some of the negative reviews of it tbh. I mean, each to their own but sometimes I think people just criticise for the sake of it. I thought the whole movie was beautifully shot and I liked the way they used relatively unknown actors. I give it 9/10. Also recently saw Hall Pass - 5/10. It was alright to pass an hour or so on a lazy good Friday. I've also been watching all of the Star Wars movies on bluray in order cause my girlfriend has never sat and watched the entire movies. Tomorrow night is Empire Strikes Back which always used to be my favourite so we'll see if that's still the case. Girlfriends favourite so far is Revenge of the Sith which I think is the best of the prequels.

Klitschko v Chisora - Free to view on Boxnation on Sky now
G_Dub replied to G_Dub's topic in Off-topic Chat
Well that was infinitely better than the Klitschko Haye fight. Del Boy threw loads more punches than Haye did against Vladimir. And he made Vitali look every one of his forty years. Vitali looked knackered by the end. Chisora sure has some hazelnuts...he spat water in the face of Vladimir right before the fight! -
I thought it was a subscription channel but it's free due to technical problems from what I read. I always find myself rooting for the underdog...come on Del Boy!

I previously had a Blaupunkt Nashville DAB35 in my old Volvo 480GT. I had the DAB aerial mounted in the top middle of the windscreen. It looked fine in that location IMO. The only thing with Blaupunkt's is that they're not everyone's cup of tea looks wise. It was in my old car for about 2 years and I took it out when I sold the car. I've still got the headunit and DAB aerial in the loft (I tend to hoard stuff and never sell it!). I would be willing to sell them both though if you were interested. Would probably be looking at £50 + P&P.

The Adjustment Bureau - very good well worth a watch. And that Emily Blunt...grrrr 7/10

Got this bad boy from Debenhams about 4 years ago. If I remember correctly the chap cut through a hammer with one! What better knife to have in your kitchen than the 'Worlds Sharpest Knife' TM

When you went in to produce your MOT they probably filled in something called a HO/RT2 which is basically a form used to record the details of whatever you're producing. If you had your ticket when you went to produce your MOT then the ticket number will probably have been recorded on the HO/RT2. If so then go back to that police station and get them to look in the HO/RT2 log and tell you your ticket number.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil - saw this the other night and really enjoyed it. Some hilarious death moments. 7/10

Just watched this tonight. Excellent. Was one of the girlfriends choices from Lovefilm and had been putting off watching it for weeks. It's amazing how a film you have no interest in watching can turn out to be brilliant. I'm notorious for missing the point in movies but I took it to mean we're the 'Monsters'. 9/10

I am number four - didn't have any expectations but really enjoyed it. I didn't lose interest at all and the blonde chick on the Ducati 848...well...nuff said. 8/10

DAB aerial is mounted with a very sticky pad. If I remember correctly the instructions advise to mount on a rear side window but on my Volvo I mounted it in the top centre of the windscreen. A small square box is then mounted on the inside of the glass which takes the signal to the headunit.

I've got a Blaupunkt Nashville DAB35 that I'd consider selling along with the DAB aerial. I used to have it in my old Volvo 480 GT. Like this one on ebay currently Linky I'd be looking for £50 + P&P if you're interested.

Maybe a pussy is sitting on it during the night...

This goes for 6x9's too

I presume you mean bridging the amp to run the sub and front speakers! In my opinion, if you're gonna buy components then why not amplify both the dash tweeters and the main front woofers? Just seems a bit odd to me amplifying just the main speakers and letting the headunit power the tweeters. I'm not sure how that setup would work anyway. My crossovers only have one input channel so if you had signals coming from both the headunit and the amp then I don't think you could have both going into the crossover. And if you sent the signal directly to the tweeter speaker and bypassed the crossover altogether then that would negate the point of having the crossover in the first place. Bridging the 4 channel amp will be fine and is what I do. I've got my crossovers sitting behind the glovebox. There's not a lot of room behind there really so they sit there pretty snugly and don't move about. I run Rainbow SLC 230's as my front speakers and they sound lovely. And a Rockford Fosgate sub in a sealed enclosure. I don't have any sound sent to the rear speakers as I don't see any point.

It sounds like you have the same problem I had earlier this year just before my MOT was due. In the end I got an auto-electrician. The problem with mine was in the loom somewhere behind and underneath the airbox where the cable had gradually been rubbing against a part of the bodywork and eventually the insulation had worn away leaving the metal cable touching the bodywork. Easily sorted but I had lost my patience trying to find the fault hence the auto-electrician.

I must confess I was a huge fan of minidiscs. In my first car which was a 1997 Black Polo 16v I had a Sony Minidisc headunit and 6 disc (minidisc) changer mounted in the glovebox. I think I've still got both of them up in the loft. Just something about those little minidiscs that always appealed to me. Plus they were small enough to stash anywhere. I had a little stack of them that fit in the ashtray! Precious memories.
