  1. PM'd you with my details, pick up date options etc. Thanks.
  2. 4 x BBS Solitude pick up only Brighton, Southampton or Ipswich 4 x BBS Solitude for sale; suit Corrado, Golf VR6 etc. ET43 Pick up only. Pick up from: - Brighton (until 8th June) - Southampton (from 21st June, possible earlier) - Ipswich (June July) I bought these in May 2010 from ebay but they were never fitted to my Corrado. I had since sold my Corrado in Dec 2011. They are in ok condition (see pics) and would make good daily or winter wheels. All have centre caps (a bit scruffy). They come with tyres with some treads but they have not been used for many years so I would recommend getting new tyres just to be safe. Since I bought the wheels (and took the pics as shown) they have been in dry, indoor storage and are wrapped in bubble wrap. I am sorry I only have two pics and can't take anymore as they are in storage and wrapped up at the moment. I'm starting a new job and am moving home in June so I thought it's best to sell them. Pick up from Brighton 50 cash only. Pick up from Southampton / Ipswich 60 cash only List Date: 5/19/2014 Location: Brighton, United Kingdom For more info, click here to view the original listing: 4 x BBS Solitude pick up only Brighton, Southampton or Ipswich -------------------------------------- SOLD -------------------------------------- Mobile friendly version: 4 x BBS Solitude pick up only Brighton, Southampton or Ipswich Go Mobile: Download the free Panjo iOS app now!
  3. Spotted a blue VR6 Storm yesterday morning; parked up at Brighton Kemptown seafront.
  4. Spotted a dark colour one near Arundel, West Sussex yesterday. Possibly a VR6. Gave you thumb-up; I was in my red Integra so you probably wondered wtf?!? :)
  5. I was reading EVO magazine the other day and thought I recognised a name….. Mr Gaskell advised the EVO writers on a Scirocco buying guide. It’s in issue 180, page 146. I have never met Mr Gaskell but from reading the tributes here no doubt that he was a good man and a valuable member to the Corrado/Scirocco community. My condolences. :(
  6. Spotted three today. Two at Goodwood Breakfast club Sushi Sunday car park. Red K reg VR6 and JMR's blue G60. Then at around 10.30am on A259 near Rustington, silver M Reg (VR6?). I was going the opposite way and in my red Integra so I didn’t flash you.
  7. I spotted three today! THREE! First one in Midhurst at about 12.30pm; I was in my red Honda Integra and flashed you and gave you a thumbs up. You probably wondered what this fool was doing flashing you….. :D Second one at Goodwood circuit car park. It’s a red one and I think it’s either a 8v or 16v; not sure cos you parked at the far end and I didn't bother to walk over to take a good look. Third one was at Goodwood Spring Sprint; VR6 storm, fully striped, beautiful paintwork!
  8. My Integra suits my need (i.e. track days) so not looking to change. However I'll always have a soft spot for Corrado (probably why I still browse the forum once in a while); one of the coolest cars ever! As said, such a shame that you have to sell as you have done so much work on it! Anyone who sees the Ice Grey in the fresh (esp under the sun) WILL fall in love with it as it's such a handsome car with lovely colour. The pics you took for the advert are spot-on. The hardest part is to get the punters to come and view the car. I'll bet that you'll sell it to the first person who views it. (As I did) All the best buddy!
  9. What a shame you have to sell! Best colour Corrado EVER. Best of luck!
  10. Ar, good! I’m glad Rupert has continued to use your service! I had passed on all the service history details to Rupert along with your contact details when he picked up the car. Take care John, cheers.
  11. Not yet; the Integra really suits my need. Funny I’ve spotted more Corrados on the road ever since I sold mine than during my 18-month Corrado ownership. I’ve seen your pics from the Brooklands thread. SERIOUSLY cool. :D
  12. I bought a 1999 UKDM DC2 after selling the Corrado VR6. Buying tips: - Look for rust (arches, sills the usual places);DB they rust ‘inside out’ so if ‘bubbles’ have appeared at the rear arches then the chances are the panels are rotten inside. Ask the seller if s/he would remove the rear interior panels to check for rust. - Check to see if there’s any water at the boot floor (spare wheel area). Very cheap and easy fix though so if you’ve found water but no rust, don’t worry about it. - Check for smoke when vtec is engaged (above 5800 rpm). - Check the gearbox, it should be very precise and has a very ‘mechanical feel’ to it. When test driving the car try changing gears at vtec zone. It should be smooth. - Other than that just do your usual checks as if it’s just any other car. Integra is loud and cruel; basically a racer for the road. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I love it. With standard LSD means traction out of corners is brilliant. I’ve done 3,500 miles so far and the mpg is about 25 (inc two track days). I don’t find the ride hard at all; it’s firm but very good for A/B roads. However mine is with the standard suspensions (with some new bushes) rather than coilovers. Corrado is the better all-rounder and ‘cooler’ but Integra gives me more driving pleasure. Test drive one before making your mind up is my best (and predictable) advice. Mine: At Goodwood last week: On ramp getting TLC:
  13. Many congrats! I met you last year at Brooklands (southern meet) so it’s nice to hear that things are working out well for you. Regards, Kin
  14. Great event! Love the pics. Shame I sold my car already. :) Looks like my old car wasn't there though.
  15. Nice! I'll be at Oulton Park on 13th April with opentrack.co.uk It's nice to go to 'proper' tracks. I never quite fancy airfield day.
  16. Yeah I was worried about the lack of low down torque at first, but I test-drove my mate’s ITR a month ago and it was fine. Power delivery is different to VR6 for sure but both engines equally full of character. Initially I was hoping to move away from FWD but nothing within my budget caught my eyes.
  17. Bought this on Sunday, it’s 1999 milano red UKDM Integra Type-R. I love it. :)
