1. Thanks Leon! Can you PM me your postcode and I'll try and get a courier quote as well. Cheers
2. I will take this please! Do you have any quotes for postage?
3. Sorry it's been such a 'mare, with your persistence I'm sure it will work out for you! As a last resort, have you got any breakers near you? Might be worth getting a skoda roof with the same glass markings as mine. It should also have the same motor type as the Corrado and the same/ similar rectangular control panel. (£25, 2 years ago)
4. Ok, if you want the easy option go for the metal roof. But if you want the moonroof, it's worth it, I see what I can do, it might take a while. Im hoping it should be possible to make an extra loom, without breaking anything and keeping the Corrado loom original. Please can you; 1)list all the info from the glass roof 2)post a picture of the wiring diagram 3)Pictures of the skoda motor connector would be helpful as well.
5. Ok, I can only think you have a different type of roof, I used the new bolts from the Skoda roof but I thought they were the same length but a Security Torx head instead of Hex Bolts. I'm sure there is adjustment on the glass by way of some screws, but I never had to adjust mine. Can you list the details on the glass (here's mine from the Oktavia Estate, also the same as a Passat B4); Rockwell FABA AutoGlass 43R-001366 DOT 500 AS3M04 8 Tinted I think Bristol Barron had the same problem in this thread; http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?50688-Moonroof-Advice-Needed&highlight=Moonroof When I took the moonroof out of the Skoda the control panel looked like the top one here; http://the-corrado.net/images/styles/HighlightOrange/attach/jpg.gif There is another type; http://the-corrado.net/images/styles/HighlightOrange/attach/jpg.gif Do you know which yours had? P.S. I have late '93 Corrado
6. I went for a six speed Mk2 TT knob. Fits the later o2j shifter, or would need a threaded insert to fit the Corrado stick. Goes well if you've got chrome bits. I am yet to fit the box though.
7. Inpro have glass lenses. Sonar have plastic, I think.
8. I knew a guy who ran his vr6 up to 160. Engine did not survive.
9. I'm interested in a group buy for front and rear speakers. Depending on price of course.
10. I've uploaded some pictures to this post but they seem to be half missing. Still, you get the idea. http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?50688-Moonroof-Advice-Needed&highlight=Moonroof The motor unit plugged straight in. I would recommend using the later switch unit (round tilt button) common to VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat of similar vintage. Much nicer to operate. ---------- Post added at 7:25 PM ---------- Previous post was at 7:17 PM ---------- I think it took me a couple of hours to swap them over. A,B,C pillars need to be removed and another pair of hands helps to take the roof lining out. Ps: welcome aboard Drewster1001!
11. Hopefully a straight swap! I used a Mk 1 Octavia estate (circa 2000?) moonroof, perfect fit IMHO. ---------- Post added at 5:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 5:12 PM ---------- Actually mine was 1999. In presuming its glass? Mine looks like this; http://the-corrado.net/attachment.php?attachmentid=41365&d=1296922227
12. Thanks I've been after a set for ages, I can collect from Croydon. Pm'd
13. I'll take the inpro headlights please, if Peebee doesn't.
14. Great work! I'm in for a GB.
15. That's the one! Also, I've never bothered connecting the gearbox reverse signal to the head unit. It doesn't seem to affect navigation at all. There is a service menu which allows you to check the speed readout in km/h and adjust the speed sensitivity for auto volume control. I can't remember the key sequence to get into it, let me know if you need it, and I'll try and find it.
16. I used several Becker head units without problems. The speed signal I've used is the standard blue and white wire found in the radio wiring bundle. I think there is another signal feed from the fuse box, maybe that's the one which causes problems?
17. Well if things get any worse you could always invest in the Gerber Apocalypse Survival Kit. http://www.gerbergear.com/Apocalypse/Gear/Apocalypse-Kit_30-000601
18. Don't worry about it, the old guard is also an inspection plate but it's really only there to stop you putting your hand in it. The new holes provide access for a hex bit adaptor on an extension bar. If you fill the holes you'll never get the sump off with out removing the gearbox.
19. I would like the abs light if Wesleyvr6 doesn't take it. Ta

OBD2 Engine Loom

Hi Austin, interested in the OBD2 loom wont need the injectors or manifold though. I don't really know what these go for, let me know much much it would be posted. Cheers Neil ---------- Post added at 10:53 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:43 PM ---------- That is a bargain, all I need is the engine bay loom, but I'm tempted for the spare parts, could that be £150 posted? ---------- Post added at 10:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:53 PM ---------- No, that's ridiculous! robo22sri, where are you based?
21. Hey no probs, sorry i couldn't buy 'em.
22. Cool, appreciate that. I don't know what postage will be but let me know if I need to adjust my offer. Hope the standard lights work out. I know nothing about wheels, but yeah! They are the muts'!
