4. OBD 1&2 Inlet Manifolds are different. Exhaust manifolds are the same. So your Lambda should fit fine! It's OBD1 right? If not you will have problems as the lambda sensors have different electrical plugs between OBD 1&2. OBD 1 plug has squarish corners. OBD 2 plug has rounded connector. I've used OBD2 lambda on my OBD1 car and just swapped the connector over. ---------- Post added at 3:26 PM ---------- Previous post was at 3:20 PM ---------- Ignore that, I miss read your first post! I thought the second hole was for another lamdba sensor for an afr gauge. From memory my plug blank was 15mm long on the the treads. Exhaust rubbers

Is it the one in this post? http://forums.vwvortex.com/showthread.php?4572859-*HOW-TO*-Polyurethane-Exhaust-Hangers!
13. Hi Jim, just in the process of rebuilding the head on mine. To take the head off took 5 hours including plenty of tea breaks. For the head bolts you will need a 12mm 12 point spline (triple square bit). You will need 2 people for undoing the cam sprocket bolts (if you need to remove the cams). The head can be removed with the exhaust manifold in place, you may want to separate the downpipe? If you decide to rebuild the head, here's a list of parts I've sourced that may be useful (including postage); Ebay doctor_car Head Gasket (Metal/Steel) Vw/Ford ELRING 401.820 £25.94 jjcraceandrally Torco MPZ Engine Assembly Lube HP 5oz Tube £9.50 youwantwehave 6x VALVE GUIDES AUDI,SEAT,VW VG3505 BY BGA £29.65 cs-parts-de 12x Tappets (12 neue Hydrostössel INA für VW VR6 AAA AES ABV) £76.76 or 12x Lightweight tappets (12 leichte Hydrostössel Rennsport INA VW 2,8l 2,9l VR6 AAA ABV Turbo wie Schrick) £130.49 GSF 12x Valve Stem Seal (Victor Reinz) 145RE0010 £11.40 Rocker Cover Gasket (Premium) 110VG0120 £12.24 Carparts4less 6x Inlet valve (TRW) 308441390 £66.96 Head Bolt Set (Febi Bilstein) 300440320 £23.70

20. Hi Dave, the oil cap will fit, the coolant cap will fit a mk4 expansion tank but upside down in my fitted orientation. I don't think it will fit a corrado vr6 expansion tank at all. ---------- Post added at 12:56 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:55 AM ---------- Show us your caps!
21. Cheaper from Porsche but this is a better alternative than eBay; http://www.wotmotorsport.com/Porsche_Oil_Coolant_Caps/p1556518_8034546.aspx
22. Needed a new coolant cap for the mk4 golf expansion tank. Seemed like a good time to inject some bling into the engine bay. From the Porsche 991; Just need to make the coolant cap fit upside down now (will not fit the corrado expansion tank).
