  1. I switched to inpro projectors with an aim to improve light output, decided it needed the fogs and indicators to match. They were a bit too bling, so they received a light smoke tint, I haven't got around to tinting the headlights. I'm not convinced they will stay, I might change back to standard if I can improve the light output.

    Looks great! Do you have any details of how you did this?
  3. Happy birthday and good luck with the support bar, they can be an arse. What effect will leavening the support bar off would have at high speed? It's very floppy without. :-&
  4. Scuttle looks great! I need to do this (outside).
  5. After over 4 years of ownership and spending all my time sorting mechanical issues I've had some time to tart up the old girl with new bonnet, front bumper and tailgate. There's still more to do, better condition doors to fit, and the wheels to paint, the list never ends... For now, she's starting to look better, here's some mediocre car park photos;
  6. Glad it's coming on well and the the terminal numbers are useful. I didn't get around to annotating the photo for OBD2 but there are fewer wires to deal with. Did you ever find a list of terminals or wiring diagram for the engine connector?

  11. Thanks for the kind comments. Be sure to have a look at my Fusebox loom comparison.pdf link. As Swiftkid said, as multiple functions aren't working its likely to be one of the main plugs. Check your G2 plug(engine wont run without G1)and then your U1 and U2 plugs. These carry most of the information displayed on your clocks. Also check the black bar throught the fusebox is in the looked position. If these are connected properly everything should work except your tach which will read high. For the tach you might want to change your clocks for VR6 ones, or see here; http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=88297 If you still have problems please list the functions which aren't working.
  12. All sorted now, please delete / ignore.

  21. I think my brake pedal switch (for the brake lights) has been pushed in while I had the servo out. It's now to short. I presume it's a self adjusting ratchet as in other VWs. Is there a way to reset or extend the switch?
