A quick one, would the Corrado be classified as a classic car so would be exempt from the ULEZ charge?

This used to happen to mine when I first got my car. I tried everything i.e. spark plugs , ignition coil, leads, disc cap, etc, it turned out to be the Lambda Sensor. Essentially the car would be fine when cold, but when it got up to speed and warm on the motorway I would get loss of power and stuttering. Turning the engine off and then back on seemed to rectify the prob until a few miles later it would happen again. Hope this helps.

0 miles in the past 13 years, just placed in the garage hoping to get it running some time soon. Have considered selling many times but found it hard to do so.

Its all about Physics. The idea is that to stop a car you must change the Kinetic energy, and to do this you change it to heat energy as generated by the pads rubbing against the brakes disc, the heat is then dissipated and the car stops as there is no longer any kinetic energy. Smaller discs have a smaller surface area and therefore heat dissipation takes longer. With a bigger disc the surface area is larger and therefore the heat dissipated is much faster, so kinetic energy is converted faster to heat energy and therefore stops the car faster. The vented discs have an even greater surface area and therefore dissipate the heat energy faster than a solid disc. ABS works on the basis that the pulses generated by the system aid in the cooling of the discs. By rapidly pulsing the pad to disc contact the system prevents the disc from over heating which causes brake fade and lock. because for that fraction of a second when the pad is not in contact with the disc when the ABS is on the disc is cooling. Tyres are just part of the equation to remove kinetic energy from the car and a good surface contact between road and tyre speeds up the conversion of kinetic energy to latent energy.

Hi Kate just read this post and was having the same issue with mine a few years back changed everything from ISV, etc in the end it was the CAT and Lamda probe, I changed the CAT as the honeycomb crumbled and it was hollow. At the same time I changed the Lamda and I've never had a problem since. When the lamda goes the fueling becomes rich and a lot is unburnt. resulting in the pop from the exhaust. Hope this helps.

Has anyone mentionbed the Black Dodge Charger (I think?) at the end of Fast and Furious driven by Vin Diesel. That impressed me a lot.
