Not as much adapting as i thought i would. a lot of cutting of welds. nuthin a grinder and a welder cant handle. i could probably strip it down again and re-build my Corrado seat back up again actully. I'll do the drivers side when i get another set of seats because alas, even though most every show car has them, the aint makin it into my C. Had them for a whille too, but did that. and changed my mind!!!! Std. seats are going back in. Just got too find a set....

They werent sold. there was a Corrado hatchback too that looked like a Schimitar. it was nasty. thankfully. never sold.....

Yup, They're own 'Rat-look' MKI was in the free poster. Basically, they stripped the paint off, gave it salt baths and smashed the headlights etc....

It is apparently, maybe he just has a fault. Somehow, i cant use a key in mine, it wont go in, but it has always opened with the CL.

take out the screws, lift the grille, place through the screws, whack in some washers or something similar, screw back down. Never seen one up close, but im guessing it would work.

morpheus20170, Sorry   FurkiG60, GREAT!!!! Nice to see they have some effect!!!

8vg60, Looks like you may need to put somethin in the middle as a spacer to lift the centre part up if you know what i mean... it might straighten up the end parts then.
-
Black_G60, No offence mate, but isn't putting the breatther and ISV piping back into your system not just a bit of a waste of time? it dilutes the octanre rating and looses power apparently. Best bet is to run them to a catch tank. lookin good though 8)

Yeah well, you may need to mod it a bit to get it there, its the right size of pipe but apparently when you fit it, its actually touching the bumper so it has to be lowered a bit too. you may need uprated hangers too, something i've still yet to get.

Well there is one bend in particular that can be a bit tricky on the way to my mates flat, dodgy surfaces camber change, it can get windy too and of course the other traffic. Its one of those bends that if you dont pay attention to your speed you'll do it 95-100 but if your concetrating too hard you wont try! My Brother regularly takes it at 115-120 on his CBR and My mates the Same on his GSX-R. Most proper sportsbikes are sorted standard, so like my mate with the GSX-R, he bought it for £1500. You show me a car for the same price that can do what that bike does!!!! Hence why i will hopefully be taking ownership of my brothers VFR very soon :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:lol:

The rear shelves do come out completely and you have to take them out to swap the speakers. if your new speakers are like mine, your going to have to cut the basket off the shelf anyway. Once you have the shelf off, theres two screws on the underside you undo then the grille pops out with the speaker attatched. swap the speakers, remake the connections (making sure the polaritys are corect!), drop back in. relax. :D

Well, i know tis wont mean much, but yeah, the one next to me seems to be crap. all their cars sound exactly the same. I had a friend with a 1.25 fiesta Zetec. His back box fell off. He went to them and asked for the same noise, and picked a 4 inch pipe. twat. but, he got what he wanted. A friend with a 16v Polo went after his centre box blew. needed it in a hurry. Asked for a LITTLE bit of noise. Sounded exactly the same as my mates Zetec......... Pointless waist of time. he went back and asked them to make it quieter, and he wasn't sure what they did to make it a BIT quieter but, he doesn't think they touched the exhaust....

Joe M, yeah, its ace, not that bad inside, but if the joint starts to leak, then you know about it!!!! My fit problems might be down to using supersprint parts tho. :( but i reckon it might give it that nice tone as supersprint use mild steel around the silencers and i prefer that sound to stainless. I was also heard over two VR's whilst we were going through a tunnel and one of them was very loud and quite far away from memory!!! I like yours though. Prefer round and letterbox to ovals. not a keen fan of those. never have been. I had a GTI supersprint centre box and janspeed box on my MKI and it was awesome. i absolutly loved the way that sounded, there was no way in hell you would think it was a 1.1 litre. Dont VR's seem to quiet'n down on a few supposedly loud systems? cant be bad though, cause they always sound good.

I have a Supersprint de cat and centre box on mine, but as i wanted a letterbox tailpipe, i got a Scorpion backbox. Apparently they were a bit of a nightmare to mate together, and i never have had the tailpipe line up right (think its the hangers too though) Sounds great though. never gave me a headache yet  but i did manage to set of a couple of car alarms though! Like i say, the build of the scorpion aint the same as Supersprint, but i really wanted the 'Boxer' pipe. Put it this way, you know when im around! ....So i've been told by a few tuned VR owners!!!!!
-
JESUS!!! Dont tell me there's 5 of them too  !!!   LOL

mmmmm, not sure, i think i was told when my boost gauge was installed that if it ever went wrong,(leak) the car wouldn't run right. But they might be different way of reading the boost ?

dub16, Ha Ha ,Cheers bud!!! Its ace. I've still actually got to get a pic up of that one.... :thumbleft:

I like the idea of that. I was originally going to try this to get the soundstage as high as possible but was told by alot of people not to bother. So i bought the Focals. Then i read about an install in a demo car fitted up by Infinfity and what did they do? 4" 2-way in the dash with a 6" woofer in the door... For exactly the same reason as was going to. In the end, i'm quite happy with what i've done, as i was quite impressed with the soundstage the standard set-up gave so i was just trying to enhance it. The Facals have adjustable crossovers and my head unit has a seven band graphic equaliser and i spent about two weeks (not solid ) setting everything up. At the time i regretted it, but now i'm really happy. I close my eyes and can't tell where the sound is coming from. Job done. They really need amped though cause they're struggling with my type of music at the volume i play them it at!! Its loud, just not loud enough!!!!!

Well, i was bored too..... Nice car by the way :D
