Blimey those brakes are huuuuge. Looks great Bally. -
There's also a hard plastic version for the MK2 Golf, which is a bit more robust. Nice work though.

It's like an end of an era, first Jay's and now yours. -
A Golf G60 one is a good fit.
-
Could be a holiday there for you Kim
-
Met Stan yesterday and must say it's really well put together. He also let me have a drive and it's like a driving a new car. Cheers Stan.

Didn't they come on the Seat Leon Cupra R?
-
Do you have the link for the thread off the Vortex forum??

Mine is running about 270-280 on the QPE ecu. It's fully mappable and i'm sure Jon at QPE would map it for you.
-
I've got QPE on my 20v and it's really good. Wouldn't go motec or DTA. Best check their web site out http://www.qpeng.com/
-
Rip the G60 out and put a 20v in

There's a guy in Caerphilly who's pretty good.

They look really nice and are indeed cup 3's as i had cup 1's on mine and they weren't like that.
-
Try Yoda on here he's breaking a G60.
-
Sounds like the clutch slave, if your lucky it's not contaminated the clutch.
-
I had a G60 but had it converted to 20v power and must say i would never go back to a G60.
-
QPeng are indeed a good bunch of guys. They're driven by the passion for cars rather than the $ sign like most tuners.
-
Give Jon @ QPE a shout, he'll be able to sort you out with a loom and stand alone ECU. http://www.qpeng.com/

It's the standard engine mount as i've got a custom s/s down pipe.
-
It took about 3-weeks which was a pain as i had to use public transport  Worth it in the end though. Cheers Bally, mines not been washed in that photo but they do look like twins

Mine is a 225bhp engine using standard G60 gearbox and a Golf G60 FMIC. If you can find a good 225bhp engine i would go for that. Your right there Kev  Modern engines are definitely the way forward.
-
Just had mine converted from a G60 and the power is awesome. Makes my old G60 feel like a snail.
