Well mate I cant say to know the histrory but it seems like a good buy for the cash and a lovely choice of colour. I would ask the seller for the log book number the long one on the front of the log book... go on google and type in mot checker... This is completely free and provided by the DVLA, it shows up recorded mileage at different points of its life, MOT fail points and also all the advisories. This is well worth looking into and gives you a real heads up to the honesty of a seller. It looks to me like a small time trader that sells a couple of cars a month from home and has bought the C as a speculative purchase and is not really a corrado bod. Its worth a punt if you are happy with the mileage. For me, no test beats a good look around the car itself as a good car often speaks for itself!!! Good luck mate.

Lovely looking car mate at the firm I used to work for three of the guys where GTV nuts and literally used to go crazy for them. Yours looks like a really nice one, they have SUCH a nice exhaust note. They are beautifully designed and if looked after a real gem.

Just think... Lower miles... newer car.... Rariety factor...(kudos).... and standard (superior spec).... Cheapest price..... and from the brief description unmolested. I have to say I would myself rather buy the cheaper and far superioir starting point to create something I want. When buying something modded you never quite know how the work has been done and to what standard... :camp:

I think mate in all honesty the v6 option 1 is the best. Two of my friends had v6 4 motions, one a golf and the other a bora and they where awesome value for the money!! One of the guys sold the 4 motion bought a diesel to do longer miles with work and almost cried. The diesels are nice but the 4 motion is in a different league!!!!!

Hey and thanks for the comments I have a couple of photos post the crash and I have to say it was looking better than before. I have slowly been doing bits and pieces to it when I have the time and can also afford too. I would love to consider Shrick manifolds, different cams and superchargers but my vr is my only car and I cant justify spending £2000 on the engine. So for now its a slow process for me. I will try and get some pics over the weekend and update them on here, Il also do a run down of bits and spec so far :) .

Good man! :D Out of interest did you find out how much the starlet was putting out? Lol after the incident the guy pulled into a petrol station and we had a bit of a catch up and he turned out to be ok. Starlet was running close to 180-200 bhp how much of that is true im not sure!! Does changing the sensor make that much difference???? Im guessing that is the crank sensor.....

I would never swap my VR for anything, I think I would say the power has a surge.. Or I think someone in a review said the power was " elastic" almost as the revs rise towards 4000 rpm they almost start to climb round at quite a deceptive speed!!!! I love the sound of mine when the cat is warm with the burble from the exhaust.. VR6 for the win. I have to say as a side note... Do not think for one sec a standard corrado vr is slow.. I was at a car meet a couple of weeks ago when a Starlet turbo ( thousands spent) owner gave me some crap all night about my grandad car until on the way home he tried sizing up his toy against mine and the VR I have to say royaly battered it.

I just thought I would add a couple of between then and now.... The first few pics are back in mid 2008.. Since then I have had a crunch and had to rebuild the whole front end.. One of my calipers started to bind on the disk and eventually as I crawled my way home on touching the brakes one caliper locked and sent me sailing into my girlfriends brothers tow bar :mad2: . Also just a week after it was finally put back together I had not one but two ARB stabiliser arms break puncturing both cv joints and on one side it mullered the cv joint itself!!!! Bad times. I really at this point starting to think that (A) I should have listen to my old mum and not have bought a green car or (B) I should move away from the crap roads of wales asap!!

Well sadly south wales isnt very exotic, in Cardiff it must have been the only day we now remember as.... THE day of sunshine!!!!!......... lol

I am so glad you guys have commented on this I thought the price was absolutely unreal!!!! I was only talking to a friend with an old rs turbo escort and he had picked up a full leather recaro interior for £150... I then as a joke looked at corrado recaro on ebay and almost died!!!!! If the guy had been ..."shill" bidding he needs seeing too. It pisses me right off when people abuse things like ebay. You could buy a high mileage C for 1500- 1800 with leather swap interiors and be quids in!!

Hi pete nice looking vr, Swansea is not a million miles away. I can easily see how you could own one of these for a long long time, My VR by far is the best thing I have ever ever bought!!!

Thanks mate, to be honest when I was originally looking for one, I had my heart set on the Blackberry, but after owning the Dragon Green I have fallen in love with it!!! I love moody look of the green in at night under lighting :D .

Hi guys I have had my Corrado for 18 months now and it has the most annoying squeaking sound when accelerating almost as the engine rocks back and forth.... Any ideas guys please. The gearbox mount looks like its leaked...? Are they a sealed unit? :(

Hi guys fairly new to the forum and mainly been browsing while I have done things to the car its been pretty eventfull with plenty of ups and downs with plenty being spent. When I bought my car it had, 72k on the clock and was completely standard, I have spent the past few months putting my own little touches to the car. I think everyone will agree that the VR6 engine really is something special. :). Here are a couple of pictures just after she had been bought and polished about 20 times!!!!
