  5. Im starting to think the same as you Jim.. I wanted the car lowered then kept hyping up different wheels in my mind after having TT comps and Schmidt 3pc modern lines and after all that, when I had just fitted my b6 shocks and eibach springs on my 15's I could not believe how it sad and how mean it looked!
  6. Tell me about... slowly growing feeling of wanting to be sick... ). Well done mate, I bet you feel relieved!
  7. Thankyou mate for the advice... I think I may have dropped a boob tho..... Wrong arms...? Im worried that I have bought mk1 TT arms and they are going to be no good... Do you have TT arms fitted mate?
  8. Good luck, I hope you find out where it goes, It is such a horrible feeling when you have spares left or find parts... I rebuilt my girlfriends brothers honda CRF 250 engine replacing everything, when finished he produced this SHIM.... he had found on the floor when it had been stripped... FU*CK F*CK F*CK!!!!
  9. Hello mate are the arms you fitted mk1 or mk2 TT :?
  10. Hi guys I have a bit of a dilema and im not sure what to do and i looking for some general opinions... I have now three sets of wheels after having tried a few on the car already and I am totally stuck and not sure which way to turn, I recently purchased some oz 5x100 5 spoke twist alloys I think intended for a subaru impreza and they look nice, but I also have a set of BBS rc041's with the bolts removed ready to be refurbed and im just not sure which way to turn.... Either keep my standard and mint speedlines... (Eibach pro kit in place so already slightly dropped) , carry on refurbing the BBS wheels or just carry on with the OZ wheels.... OZ wheels and standards are easiest options 5X100, but the RC's would look so nice. Would anyone have an idea of how much the 41's would be worth If i decided to sell them....?
  11. Hi guys think I have dropped a boob, I see the tt arms you purchased I take it are from a mk2 tt... Do the mk1 tt arms not work or not suitable...?
  12. Thankyou mate for the advice... I think I may have dropped a boob tho.....
  13. Hello mate I now what you mean I have a grill in the loft if you are looking for one? Is yours broken or just want one in better condition? I must admit I sometimes cringe with how much people want for corrado parts!!!
  14. Just bought some TT wipers so should sort my awful blade problem with no contact on the screen!! Is it relatively easy to fit these?
  15. Followed your advice mate and got a pair of arms for a steel so hopefully no more problems!!!! :salute:

  18. Hi guys I have just bought some new retrofit wiper blades (bosch) and they dont even touch the fu*king screen!!!! The centres literally have a gap of abour 4mm between the blade itself and the windscreen! Has anyone else had this problem. Either im thinking the springs in the arms are worn or they are bent....? Any ideas would be a great help..
  19. Another shot... more to follow..
  20. Hi guys been really really busy over the last few days, but have just had chance to give the c a quick clean and take some pictures of the beast as she is now, unfortunately it was just literally a ten minute wash so not looking her best but still trooping on!! I have also had a tot up of the mods I have done since owning the car.. 288mm Front brakes refurbished and fitted. Rebuilt rear calipers. Braided brake lines all round. Bilstein B6 shocks. Eibach Pro kit springs. Mk3 top mounts. New gearbox mount. Supa RamAir Filter. Front end replaced (weep :( ) New front ARB, Two cv joints, Both drop links. Door reprayed and dents removed. Webasto slider sunroof. Eton component speakers, Custom mounts for tweeters and fabricated door pod hangers. (Concealed Crossovers). Sounds great and looks oe. New lines. Refurbed Speedines.. Hella black smoke rear lights. Concealed glove box fuel pump cut off flick switch. Black front vw badge (rather than badgless) Silver rear STORM badge... sort of wish I had not done it now... :camp: TT wipers on the way!!!!! (now fitted) Tried too many sets of wheels some good and some not so good.... .... And thats about it... and in that time I have done about 20,000 miles!!! The car has been in my eyes amazing!!
  21. That was AMAZING... Bravo! OMG what a total legend!!!! lol, I have just confound myself to owning a scirrocco not a (corrado), as everyone and I mean EVERYBODY says oooo nice scirrocco ....... inward Cringe......
  22. Hello mate I believe this is a an insert that goes in a recess in the plastic cover to stop the pressure of a bolt or nut snapping of cracking the plastic.... as in bolt.... sleeved washer.... Plastic... :D
  23. Good stuff about 30 mins from Gainsborough...... I used to date a a girl from up near by you... :cuckoo: ( I used to travel 180 miles each way every weekend.... on a bike.... for three years lol) Nice looking corrado mate have you had it long?
  24. Hello mate, I do not have massive budget but have just boxed smart with my money and bits and pieces I could get for the cash I have. I bought some eton components with Crossovers (which are absolutlely excellent, with Pionner 8 inch round 3 way speakers and an Pioneer head with 5 x 40 watt intergrated amp. I have found that this combo has been absolutely excellent. For me the component speakers and rear speakers in my own stealth shelf give me enough bass to rattle the interior without taking up boot space or the need for an amp. It is so easy to go the whole hog but I think in many cases it is really not neaded. I did try looking for amps, subs etc etc etc. But in the end my set up has been enough to impress me or anyone that has been in the car.
