  2. personally i think he's pretty funny. he article in the times on sunday is always a good read. and you gotta hand it to him....i mean ...jammy begger....paid for test driving cars all day....i wish it was me!
  3. yeah he said that he may look into the 3.0 turbo but i also heard him say he had a normal replacement just to tide him over.
  4. yeah the photobucket server is playing up..its usually very reliable...check back later DONT PAINT IT BLACK....NOooooooooooooooooooooooo.. looks nice as it is

  7. the A in the part number does make a difference, you need to get the correct spring plate or else the spring will work its way off and you'll have all kinds of problems!
  8. all done  £450 all in which isnt too bad for all the work that was done. pick it up tomorrow morning and i'll upload pics tomorrow goodbye crappy micra...hello corrado
  9. anyone got the correct part number for it?

  11. huge list and im not calling them all  im with adrian flux at present. i am 21 with a modified car...ive tried brentacre but any other suggestions of where to try? trying to get a cheaper renewal quote than £1100. ta
  12. toyo are good tyres....standard fit on mitsubishi evos and tvr's i had them on my honda and were great in wet and dry there a bit soft though so dont expect the same life expectancy as you would from a michelin....good tyre and well priced over all though!
  13. been in the body shop since monday morning :( ..... in my mums crappy nissan micra still  cant wait to get it back especially as it will be all clean and nice :D time to order my P21S i think

  15. suits you sir!!! that is one beautiful car!
  16. i did laugh at first...but to be honest if i got my hands on a storm badge....i'd try to pass my car off as a storm
  17. i always thought it was just the tensioners myself but if you going to all that effort of getting the box and engine dropped you may aswell put new chains in aswell....just for peace of mind. chains dont stretch as far as i know...the look saggy if the tensioners have gone. although im probably talking fudge
  18. yeah it also burns when hot as i found out last week :| ouch bugger thats hot :x
  19. well no disrespecting the boxter...or you for that matter but i never REALLY liked it all that much... as a car its great im sure but as a porsche its just a bit to...i dont know...soft. my friends dad drove one after his 993 and said it was alot softer...just felt like a normal run of the mill quick car...like a bmw or something...the 911 has always felt it has the extra something. im going for the 993 c4s when i have the money
  20. im not really into the new 997 or that new boxter ...look wierd... the 993 is a real thing of beauty though and will be my personal choice when i make it to that level of car ownership  the porsche story sucks!!! im very suprised and shocked at how they treated you!. my friend has a 964 and they treat him like the king! come and pick it up and drop off a merc courtesy car and then bring back the hand washed, serviced prosche a few days later..never had any probs. hope you get it fixed. whats the corrado like compared to the boxter out of interest?
  21. damn...thats ANOTHER thing on mine that not working as it should then!!! i always assumed that it wasnt one touch up??
  22. woohaaa...thats high....you always know if its too high if you can fit your head in there!
