    Car went yesterday !!!! Had to deliver a few miles up the road so gave her a last thrash..... Great VR6 sound from the Magnex exhaust , nice gearchange with the short shift conversion, 288mm drilled/grooved discs/ mintex pads stopped me when neaded and of course she handled like nothing else that is pulled along by its front wheels... arrived at new owners place with the brakes 'pinging' and a slight aroma from the warm brakes. She will be missed :(

    Been offered a reasonable price for my VR6 today , could do with the space it takes up and don't get much chance to enjoy it nowadays but i know i'll regret it afterwards. Got until end of today to give an answer :(

    Probably one of the top level - factory trained technicians main dealers bang on about when you know that a teenage YTS lout with an attitude is actually carrying out the £500 service on your lovely motor !!

    My local TPS are often confused about oil recommendations, have been supplied fully and semi-synthetic 6 months apart from them !!

    Another tip is to try and not break it ( good luck with that ! ) as they get brittle and snap, i got one of the last few available and was fleeced for £30 odd quid from the dealer. Still it is a damn site easier than the tunnel i am trying to remove in the Touran i'm currently playing with :(

    Anyone tried a Bilstein B12 Pro Kit Suspension Kit - VW Corrado 1.8 16v, 1.8 G60, 2.0i, 2.0i 16v, 2.9 VR6 09/88 > 12/95 25-30mm F, 25mm R £570 these are supplied with Eibach Pro kit springs and i happen to know that the MD at Eibach has a Rado Vr6 so i would expect they have had some valuable R&D time put into them ?

    I certainly heard your exhaust today pal , you were next to me at the lights ( i was in my Jag XF daily ) I can testify that this thing is loud !

    Mate , did you get the correct gearknob from VW ? They sold me a G60 one and couldnt decide which of the part numbers was correct, do u know it by any chance ? Cheers

    This was probably because of the warranty repair issues, we had to remove the faulty unit leaving customers without any sounds whilst it was sent off to Panasonic for repair, these would usually be returned a week or two later with a sticker on them stating ' No fault found ', customers were understandingly unimpressed with this system but we were not permitted to fit a new radio under warranty if it was a panasonic !!

    Yep ! The garage that did my brakes didnt realise you can do this and spoke to me like i was an idiot when i questioned whether they had done it, i collected it with a spongy pedal and was told ' i've bled em three times mate so thats just how they are !! ' 20 seconds of pedal pumping and nipple tweaking later the pedal was and still is spot on.

    Hi everyone i need a small amount of welding on inner rear wheelarch due to the crap that collects round the fuel filler neck , does anyone know of anyone capable of doing this please ? Cheers Matt

    Can you guarantee i'll end up with the genuine ferrari quality panel gaps ? Just look at the gap round the bonnet !!
