  1. have to admit, i agree  i like mine looking standard because its actually different to most corrados out there
  2. well they are both up for sale so they both only done them for attention in my opinion, brought them, spent loads of money making people look at them, and then got bored.... if they spent the money under the bonnet then maybe they wouldnt get so bored so quick
  3. i like some of the modded corrados having smoothed this and smoothed that, but people go too far sometimes... and why would you want a pink corrado?? thats basically what i paid for mine :confused4:

    VR6 power

speed = fun and wiping the grin off some peoples faces is prcieless!! and if you put a turbo on the VR, it wont sound the same either, mine certainly doesnt!!!! i would start off like everyone else and go for 350-400, that should be fast enough to be fair, otherwise why the :censored: did you buy a Corrado VR6
  5. be better having a charge cooler tbh, but my intercooler allows mine to get 300bhp on a hot day, more on a cold... can you remember how big mine was mate when marcus had it??
  6. Yeah get a forge 007P on there mate, shouldn't be much work to do. Hot air? You mean the air routed back into the turbo intake via the recirc valve? No issues with that all mate :salute: yeah thats what i meant kev  thanks for the peace of mind!! what have you done then karl?? we have to know
  7. you made the right decision buying another corrado imo, looking forward to seeing how you get on 8)
  8. it definately is worth saving, especially if you have the time to do bits on it!!! if someone gave me 10k to buy a car, i would buy a corrado VR6 and spend all the money doing it up, be faster than pretty much any car you can buy for that and will look loads better, and you wont feel like a nob driving it about
  9. people cant be arsed to sort out the problems i suppose... dont know why these people own cars this old in the first place?? most 15-20 year old cars are already scrapped and in a very bad way, especially the french ones  why go scrap in a perfectly good corrado and pay x amount a month, that money you spend each month can go into a corrado, and they look a million times better than the new cars when they are mint! a new car will loose loads of money, at least a mint corrado will be worth something in a the years to come... times are hard and prices have dropped, but they can only go up, and all these boring new cars will be worth nothing in 5 years
  10. yep, it fuels like a bitch sometimes, and gives off rather large back fires out the exhaust which sounds like the corrado is shooting a vauhxall behind... i would do it the way you have mentioned there Kev if i was to start a VRT myself, but as i have the set up i will just put a diverter on. I know the VAG turbos have them, but any reason why the hot air could be a problem in the long run??
  11. agree with all your comments, the sooner my car gets back there the better!! there were jobs i thought i would never get round to doing as i dont trust people enough to touch my car, but these guys are top notch and cant wait to have my car in and out of there, the list keeps getting bigger for work i want them to do... i would recommend them to everyone on here 8) see you soon guys, hopefully Dave will have his VRT there next time so i can see what the beast is made of

  16. i lve in bedfordshire and need some silkolene 10w-50 oil now!!! anyone know anyway by any chance??
  17. normal swirls polish out with a rotary or dual action polisher... you really need to get on detailing world and ask them lot!! they have guides and people who do this everday so sign up and post some pics!! you can do it yourself or get someone to do it for you, its only the very deep scratchs that need wet sanding down which i wouldnt do yourself, needing new laquer must be bollocks if its just swirls and light scratches.....
  18. ha ha you guessed it :D Turbo does look/sound very appealing, not totally convinced on a supercharger, but i'm only looking at around 300 horses, so its still driveable. Still not ruled out the 24v though.... 400bhp is still driveable, you wont be driving on boost everywhere you go, well it would be impossible!! but 300bhp is enough for me (at the minute )
  19. i would imagine i will care for the same things in 10 years, my car, my mrs and football.... and i would say it will probly still be a corrado to 8) edit: oh, and toad you are :camp:
  20. i agree that we all disagree
