2. I'm going now so will be up for a convoy :thumbleft:
3. Cheers :) Yeah I tried to clean up the spot weld but was not to be, I'll probably get the dremel out this weekend and see what I can do.
4. My dad had a BAM TT and it didn't feel as quick as my VR but that's subjective I guess.
5. Cheers guys, i'll have a go at it then :) Andy, yeah i've seen it and now i'm actually wetting myself with excitement
6. I'm in stoke for the weekend, i work at bristol street ford. You can pick it up anytime tuesday, you can have it.
7. Cooking with gas this weekend, changed fuel filter and aux belt tensioner and carried out a brake fluid change :) While waiting for the brakes to bleed I took a bit of wet and dry paper to the tailpipe. It came up really nice all the corrosion came off ok, and now it looks pretty sweet. I also tried cleaning some of the dirt from the bay, but there are quite a few patches of protective wax, any ideas on the best way to clean the bay? And is it wise to clean that stuff off? Even though it only protects patches now! Also i noticed the underseal on the chassis leg holes coming away and there is some moisture in there causing corrosion, can this underseal be repaired and can i do it myself?
8. I have one, but the bearings a bit noisy. You can have it if you come and pick it up. I'm in gloucester so not too far :)
9. Cheers, good to know it's not faulty :)
10. Wondering if anybody can help me, recently had a toad alarm fitted and when I turn my engine off I hear the central locking pump activate, pretty sure it didn't happen before. Any thoughts?
11. Thats good to hear :) Andy just let me know and i'll try and get a van to take 'em all at once.

Nice VR

Yeah it's a real shame, would be a great buy at £2500ish.
13. Andy i'm getting mine done in a few weeks at Lepsons swindon, my mate craig is having his done too as they said if you do more than one set at once they will do trade price which is £51 inc. vat per wheel as opposed to £57. I have heard really good things about these guys.

Nice VR

Has he edited it to include the fact it was a write off? That's why it seems cheap, although in context it's not that cheap. ;)
15. Noooo, you mustn't! Fit a pump, take it to a garage, anything but that! Seriously though it's gotta be worth trying a pump 'cus if it's excessively noisy then it's likely knackered.
16. Again depending on cost I could be in
17. Have you checked for any fault codes which may point you in the right direction?
18. This calculator's really helpful if you need to know which tyre profile to fit, it tells you the speedo difference too :) http://www.alloywheels.com/Tyre_Calculator
19. Standard preferably as they allow some movement of the beam to aid steering somehow, which I assume the powerflex do not. However I have some brand new powerflex rear beam bushes that you can have for £25 posted ;) (they are £32 before postage from powerflex)
