People were just looking out for a forum member, I wouldn't call it dodgy, lets not forget that the 'truth' could leave Rams with an expensive set of knackered wheels! By the way Rams good luck sorting this.

That kit with all the mk4 stuff is good. Also you will need a rear crank seal, rocker cover gasket, Middle inlet manifold gasket, clutch bolts and flywheel bolts. I didn't change any of the guide rail bolts. Might want to change the clutch too as it saves a rather big job in future.

That's ridiculous money, Corrado values are all over the place but at present a more realistic figure is required I think.

Yep those are mk4 guides and tensioner, it's the same kit I had from Fourseason tuning.

I stupidly did my last vr's chains at 95k and there was zero wear on all the guides

The 24v guides are supposed to be harder wearing and the tensioner bolt is hydraulic as opposed to sprung like the 12v.

The dipstick marker is supposed to face the engine so if it reads fine that way, then you have no problem. As the tube is curved it may be altering the oil on the stick if you pull it up the wrong way. Maybe. :)

I haven't really given it a blast through any twisties yet, but it does ride very well (as would anything compared to a Corrado on coilovers). I said to myself that I wouldn't spend any of my money on it bar maintenance, stop giving me ideas :lol:

So this is the new long distance runner/gf's wheels. I got it for (me)you which is basically when you get a loved one a gift which on first appearance is just that but is actually more for you ie. Tyre size shouldn't be relevant really (if it is I can't understand why), just apply the correct measurement for the G60.

It's been said but Top Gear was better when it was 'boring' because it was about cars. Now it's all just pratting about which is only occasionally funny and maybe there will be an awesome sounding car on the test track (ie; FXX)
