1. Actually Jim, still not clear as the one above says (leather) but this particular part number doesn't. We really need to get a definitive answer. If it is genuine then group buy for the win!
2. I have a set of DDI gauges, no power inverter and the speedo dial is kaput (no illumination) other 2 dials are fine. Worth seeing if DDI can just send you a speedo as I only want £15 for mine. Ron
3. I've already translated it using google, the issue is that once the form is compete, I can't fine a "send" button of any kind
4. E90s are great to drive, Msport handling is better that most current VWs even with upgrades.....but... Run flat tyres are terrible and must be removed plus running costs are astronomical. As an example, I owned a 2007 330i msport manual (280bhp petrol) was 4 years old with extended warrantee. Pas hose burst - £360 (warrantee claim) Pas hose kept leaking - £250 (warrantee claim) Engine started rattling, cam and tappets damaged, £3000 bill and they tried their best to get out of it - warrantee claim but they charged me £400 for oil, coolant change that had to be done as part of the job anyway. BMW make great cars but they rape you on the maintenance! Sold it after just 1 year :(

Scam??

Is it that cheap? its a 10 year old car and you can buy a similar year S3 for around that kind of money Granted could probably advertise it for more but it could well be a Cat D etc
6. I've had 3 Octy VRs and also 3 Golfs (2 GTIs and my current MK7 GT TDI) For the money the Octy is a lot of car and very practical, the boot is as big as the passat but in hatch form, so even better. My last octavia was a 2010 59 plate with the TSI engine and DSG, sold it for £8500 last year so you should be able to get a 2008-09 reg car for around £5K now Get the TSI engine over the TFSI if you are tuning. The TSI can easily go to 270-280bhp with exhaust, down pipe, intake, stage 2 map. The TFSI has a load of limitations, fuel pump is mechanical and can't deliver past 240-250bhp
7. Sorry, when I click on that it is all in German. You must be using google chrome with translation on. That is what I used to read it but when you go to the contact form, it doesn't translate and is still in German. I did fill the form in but couldnt figure out how to submit it and so bailed out. I think you might need to be a member or register in some way? Any German speaker/readers out there?
8. I would but it is all in German :) no idea what the enquirey form is on about as google wont translate all of it
9. Yeah, just wondering if there is some sneaky catch like it is actually just plastic, or it is only for the horn cover :) At that price, if it is leather then I'd buy one as re-trimming was quoted at £120

11. Hi Folks, My drivers side bolster (seat base, side closest the door) is going a bit soft, I know many people strip an old passenger side seat to get a fresh bolster. Does any one have one I could purchase? Wiring up my heated seats and so have the interior out, may as well do it now Thanks Ron
12. Oh mate, unlucky with that corrosion. I wonder what caused that as normally it is dry up at that top under the wings. Maybe someone ran the car without an arch liner for a while?
13. Hi, Thanks for getting back to me and for refunding, I really appreciate that, I was starting to panic as it is a lot of money! Let me know what you want to do. Cheers Ron
14. I've been PMing you but no answer yet, can you get in touch with me please. Either via PM or email [email protected] Basically I sent you £210 for the pair of roof mouldings you were selling in this thread http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=84677 Today I opened the box to find just one roof trim in there? I was expecting both sides for £210 and that is what your ad describes? I also notice that further along in the thread you mentioned that your friend had another single roof trim for £72 new. This is the side that is still available from VW I clicked on the images from the post and noticed that the one in the picture, is the same side as the one you have sent me http://www.arz-tuning.de/shop/product_info.php/language/en/info/p630_Dachzierleiste-links-fuer-VW-Corrado.html/cat/106 I very much hope that this is some sort of mistake and the wrong items have been posted to the wrong people. Please get in touch to clarify.
15. I'm not interested but Jamie might be, best to start your own for sale thread Rams ;) Rotrex is great but needs engine opening up for a head spacer etc, injectors and also gearbox may be on the edge with that kind of power/torque as well. The V9 kit is a good easy bolt on for 250-260bhp, fitted in a few hours and totally reversible. No need to remove the head etc
16. Hi Karmannski, Recieved parcel but only one strip in there, ad shows two in the photo and describes a "set of roof mouldings" I hope this is a mistake on your part? http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=84853 Thanks Ron
17. Haha, nice. I've own done before in 2001, unfortunately the car was stolen and never recovered :( If you want to have a chat about it, send me a pm. Do you have a mapped chip with it?
18. Actually, may consider a Px for a VSR (VWM not Shrick) as that would still be in keeping with my OEM+ plan
19. I could post, depends where you are. It would be a bloody heavy box! :)
20. Charger should work fine, this kit was sold in both vr6 12 and 24v, just pipes and software are different.
21. Everything you need is here, no internal work needed and just bolts on. As the sump is included, no welding needed, should take 3-5 hours to fit depending on how knowledgable you are. I have full instructions.
22. I think the charger and brackets at the same but the charge pipe is OBD 1 and you'd need OBD2. Plus mapping won't work either. It could be made to fit but it would cost you about £200 for new pipes to be made up and about £300 for mapping at Stealth. Also sump is different, probably not worth the hassle, better but a 24v kit?
23. Thinking of a change of direction for my car. Never been 100% happy about modding it as it is a very nice example with FSH etc So I am going to take it back to standard on the engine and buy another quicker car to get my thrills, whilst enjoying the C as a pampered classic. Kit is 100% complete, stage 1 6psi and can be heard running on my car if needed, I also have videos on you tube etc. Vortech V9 charger and st1 pulley - previous owner tells me less that 5k miles and certainly looks it, polished finish and no oil leaks etc Obd1 charge pipe, fabricated by MB motorsport. Obd1 chip mapped by Stealth racing Silicone/ALU charger inlet pipe, neoprene extension pipe to relocate MAF for smooth running Cone filter and Bosch DV (3 month old) Brand new (3 month old) vag sump with oil return line boss welded in. All charger brackets, connectors, bolts, pipes and feed lines are present. Continental Charger belt with about 1000 miles on it, plus a spare brand new continental belt. Catch can kit also included (3 month old) Base kit £1800 (almost all parts are brand new, and comes with mapped chip for an AG vr6) Extras: I also have a vent dash pod mounted with an auto meter boost gauge £70 - gauge and pod plus vac pipes etc Stage 2 pulley, never used and brand new, would need injectors and a remap to make 8psi - £70 Brand new APS 16 row oil cooler with Mocal thermostat plate, fitting kit etc (cost £160) £135 PM for details
