Haha, well it was £500! Surprisingly the 728i Sport that I bought in Nov for the rally seems to be spot on so far. Changed the water pump and gave it a service but aside from that, nothing to report. Just would have liked to do it in a C :)

If it is a berry then I'm double gutted as I have 2 wings!
-
What colour is it BTW, looked like Sherry pearl in the eBay ad but now looks like it could be BlackBerry?
-
Bugger! Looks good :)
-
Great stuff D, gutted I couldn't have picked it up but guess it wasn't meant to be. Get some pics up soon!
-
Yep, thing is that it's the collecting too. Rare parts, obsolete parts.....like collecting stickers when I was a kid ;)
-
Hehe, we'll takes one to know one :)

Looking good mate, there is something funky going on with my sunroof at the moment too. Sometimes it fully works, sometimes nothing at all. Like no power getting to it. May do the moonroof myself!

Tell me about it, just been removing the interior from mine to fit all new clips, felt pads (get rid of squeaks) and also fit heated seat loom.

Corrado Club National Day 2014

I think you have a skewed perspective on how big the Uk is mate :) Stealth is a 4-5 hour drive from Newcastle, same as Stamford hall. I make the trips but many local lads I know around here with Corrados can't be arsed but would do 1-2 hour trips -

Yeah I've been thinking about it, problem is that life gets busy and then I have no time.....other times I am ok and could organise some things. I wonder if sharing the role of a region between two people could work. Taking it it alternating turns to arrange things? -

Please don't misunderstand me, the guys running the CCGB are doing a great job considering the regional hosting was discontinued. I do think that regional organisers needs to come back. When I was a member back in 2000, Martin Hoyland was the Northern regional host and he did a great job. -

I'm up for that one, about 1.5hours drive from me. Great drive I've too :) I think the thing is that a lot of Northern Corrado owners are not CCGB members as the club has no presence here. If the club wants more members to help keep the Corrado alive then it needs to push more into the North. Just like running a business, if you want more customers you have to invest in providing something to attract them, not just say "I have no customer there" -

When I say North, I mean proper North and not Sheffield/Nottingham type North (aka the Midlands) :) -

Having been a CCGB member in the South and then later in life, up North. I have to say that the support for official shows up North is very poor indeed. Plenty of VW shows but no CCGB love. When I originally suggested an RR day, everyone booo'ed about my suggestion of a Northern venue and so we ended up at Stealth....again It is not that there are less people up here, we organised a North Yorkshire meet and had 16 cars as I remember it. The hard bit was organising it with no official framework as we basically had to PM forum members one by one to spread the word. "Build it and they will come" I'd be happy to help with getting more "up North" events sorted if I can get some help from the club. Ron -
Hi Diarmid, I'll send you a PM with his number. He's called Robin. Thanks

Did the bolt mod too, took 45mins and the wheel is rock solid now. Way cheaper and just as good as the polo rack mod.

Got a problem, basically my 18mth old ha to go into hospital I've night, we're at my inlaws in Sheffield and now we have an indefinite stay while he gets better :( So no idea when I can get up to Paisley to pick it up and sell may just re-list. So if any of you guys want it, I could tell him another Corrado owner may take it for £500? He might hold it for me but I doubt it, look like we could be here a while as my wee man is quite poorly :(
-
Yep

I took a punt on it last night as I'm doing a charity rally in £500 to France in May. Already bought a 728i but figured if this C is ok then I could use it instead, if not I can break it.

http://bit.ly/1btCr4X Thanks

That is awesome :) I got a compressor and air tools, sort of Corrado related. My wife figured they would make repairing the C easier/faster :)
